i like that film too, there is a special blue ray version where neil degrassi tyson does commentary with another guy, very rare to hear him there, but hes a fan of it. check it out

Though utterly devoid of draculas, a long time favorite of mine has been the film The Quiet Earth. I saw it young and it blew my mind. It might make a fine companion (even a boon companion?) to I am Legend.

I know others may disagree but I think Omega Man was very good. I will also compliment the folks here, this discussion crystallized in my mind some of choices the film makers made. A very good book, dear lord though no sequels please.
