The android from Fondly Fahrenheit loves to play the Nutcracker Suite to himself while he works in cold climates, and we thought you'd like to listen in!

As our bonus content for Nutcracker Month, we've produced robot versions of Tchaikovsky's famous suite be fleet be fleet. We'll be using the music in the show as we discuss ETA Hoffman's novel this month, but our cultists get the trax YACK-FREE!

The Nutcracker Suite - Cool and Discreet

Original MIDI sequencing by R.J. Stratton, Jr.

Arranged and produced by Chad Fifer

Score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

I can't wait to hear y'all talk about the Nutcracker! I grew up practicing ballet and one year, I got cast as the Rat king in our company's Nutcracker show. It's definitely the best part to play because you get carried off stage by a bunch of eight year old rat children!

Oh man, another thing that I love but cannot share without 20 minutes of explanation. Awesome job guys, I'm gonna go make some people read Fondly Fahrenheit now so I dont seem too crazy when I play this at Christmas.

I really, really enjoyed that. Great timing, since I was feeling sort of Grinchy. Thanks for posting that and thanks for the shout out on the last episode.

Brilliant! I hate Christmas, but I love this. WHY?!? My logic circuits are melting!!!!

I would love to hear a discussion of The Nutcracker. I’m obsessed with the character of Drosselmeyer, I feel like there needs to be a lot more stories about him.

"The Nutcracker and the deadmau5 King" by E. D. M. Hoffmann is just what I needed this holiday season! Seriously, though, this rules. It reminded me of how the classic Lemmings video game interpreted Dance of the Reed Flutes.

Finally something to blast to drown out Last Christmas and all the other schmalz. Thanks!

Thank you!!! I'm a former ballerina, my partner almost exclusively listens to 8-bit video game tunes, and we both hate (the usual) holiday music. This arrangement was "made" for our yuletide house. All reet!!

Jeremy Impson

Hey turns out this is the perfect soundtrack to play while driving through small towns in rural Maine in December!

Richard Horsman

This is stupendous. I'm having a hard time getting festive this year and I really needed something like this to kick my holiday ass into holiday gear.

Love this! Fascinating how I recognise almost all of these melodies, even though I never seen the ballet. They really are so widespread in culture. Looking forward to hearing the origin story during the next couple of weeks.

I’m gonna play these tracks this Christmas, and when my family asks I’ll finally get to use the “This IS Christmas music!” quote from Die Gard.

Chad I have to admit that I usually enjoy your music. However this Nutcracker Suite music made me feel like I was going insane while listening to it. You almost got me into your death cult. Good try. I’m glad I still get to continue living though.
