You know what, I think I'll take death by snails. That was gruesome. But also awesome. I can't wait to hear the whole thing stitched together like some hideous necrotic giant episode, especially since I don't remember the apothecary being the narrator - it felt like we had two of them, with The Movie describing things at the same time, but I guess that's one of the drawbacks of audio. Another drawback? The camera of my mind's eye doesn't cut away from any of those brutal kills, everything just reels by in brilliant technicolor. Yeesh! The whole endeavor was a lot of fun to listen to, and it sounds like you all had a blast putting it together.

Fantastic! A big action piece close with a solid teaser for sequels, I can't wait for this to hit theaters 😁

You all delivered an adaptation that I'd say is, in many ways, an improvement over the source material. The sword fights in the basket, the small rivalries amongst the acolytes, and the aid of friends in Gaspard's pursuit of the colossus made for a fuller climax. (Your solution for getting Gaspard out of the oubliette without finding the hole in the wall--especially his implication of murdering Red to use his body to get out--was equally entertaining.) Having Gaspard descend into the colossus Nathaire at the end was truly cinematic, as well as gross, and a great cap on the adventure. I hope you can find a way for someone (HPLHS) to turn this into a live action or even animated film, though honestly the radio drama / screenplay read-through version is excellent and a true treat.
