You're in for a Halloween treat! This month, we've read some family-friendly stories from Jeff C. Carter's new anthology, We Bleed Orange & Black: 31 Fun-sized Tales for Halloween.

Special thanks to readers Rachel Lackey, Chad Fifer, Heather Klinke and Chris Lackey.

This was really fun, thanks. I especially liked "Inky's Day Out" and played it for wife & son while we had dinner tonight - on Halloween! :-) The image of Inky being mobile inside a pumpkin is priceless, but what really make me laugh with joy was how Inky indicated he wanted to continue trick-or-treating - green body and black arms in the shape of a witch's hat. Thanks!

Those were lovely! Thanks to you all and I do hope your Halloween was as delightfully Halloweeny as you'd hoped and feared.

Posted this on the wrong topic! How embarrassing. Regardless these short readings were fun and the twists at the end delightfully spooky. I'm particularly fond of the third story to which I've dubbed in my head, "Karen meets the manager: Holloween Edition" Excellent work as always, and look forward to whatever other holiday-themed stories you guys have in store for us.

I missed this when it came out. It’s really great, especially the last two stories and the musical ending. Going to share those stories with loved ones. Thank you!
