Afro Beats resonated more in London then it does America because a lot of the black africans are first or second generation African and have that connection to Africa and its culture whereas a majority of black people in America dont connect or have a connection to African culture or history. So Americans need the western version of Africa such as modern skyscrapers and luxury that their used to. Similar to how Drill was first popular in London and then America, the same will be for Afrobeats
