The Central Park 5 did not assault anyone in the park that night. Some of the kids in the park did assault people, but it wasn’t any one of the 5 kids who ended up being arrested. So yeah, the prosecution fucked up on all counts and all 5 of them had their charges dropped - and yes, that includes the assault charges. Easy to look this up in a second, which is what y’all should have done before saying these kids actually beat people up so it wasn’t all bad.

Yo I love this podcast I really do but can we please start checking Shultz basketball knowledge. When tf has Kobe ever been seen as anything other than a 2. He has played more PG than SF. It’s too easy to look up the Central Park Five case before speaking on it. Were there kids in the park that night? Yes. Did some people get assaulted? Yes. But those 5 kids had nothing to do with it. They just so happened to “fit the description” and shit went downhill from there.
