Yo I need Kaz to start dropping bars with confidence on these dudes. To call Carmelo a born loser is fucking nuts. To say he never reached his full potential is fair. Then ask yourself, when IN HIS PRIME who is the best player he ever played with? Very little top end talent. NOBODY WINS ALONE. Not Kobe, Not Wade, Not KD, Not even MJ. Furthermore, Melo spent half of his career in the West dealing with The Lakers, Spurs, Mavs etc. When Kobe Bryant calls you the toughest player he's ever had to guard... Nuff Said. Next. Gang members aren't a monolith. When you assume all or even most gang members are murderers, you show you probably don't know alot of gang members. As some one who does, trust me, most gang members aren't out here shooting folks. A fair amount of them break laws, usually victimless crimes or some War On Drugs bullshit that infringes on human rights and impedes the free market. I hope Kaz gets more courage and info. He's a solid dude but he's still a little shy with his voice. Peep the nervous laugh. Today's lesson, Open dialogue is beautiful but be wary of learning about niggas from people who can't say nigga.

The problem with Andrew and Akaash is they don't think before they speak. They just say things because their opinions are based on their emotions instead of being more analytical.

I see where they were trying to go by comparing gangs to policing but a big difference is that policing was and is rooted in occupying and oppressing a given group of people. That said, every gang member isn’t a shooter and every gang member doesn’t know how to move dope. Doesn’t mean those types of dudes aren’t within the ranks but they’re the minority. Probably wouldn’t hurt to find somebody who can really clear up Andrew & Akaash’s opinions on the subject.
