So I've been wanting to do this build for a while now I have time to work on it I'll give details on it, it's not a build that I'd put for download on Halloween because it's more so for gameplay. this is for people who like their sims to go out exploring and gathering their own ingredients like berries nuts and vegetables in a forest or outdoor landscape..

I mainly like the foraging mod by brazenlotus and the ye olde cookbook mod from Littlebowbub that allows you to rabbit hole forage. they both allow exploring and I just wanted a lot to go with that type of gameplay. this is perfect for a fantasy supernatural occult save or off-the-grid gameplay. there will be mods focused around the build as I go. I have so many I play with I wanna make sure I document details along the way and if anyone is interested in the end you can have it! I'll put it up for download just in time for spring (north america) when it's done. I'll use Forager's Grounds and Build tag per usual to find it. so I figured I'd share my building process with you along the way.

🌿 --- terrain building ---- 🌿

I wanted to make it have hills and overpasses and pathways that the light hit that made it look like natural hills and natural places that things would grow also to separate areas that I want to base where things will grow and how sims will navigate it. this took a few hours since I drew out the floor plan months ago. this is just my first time trying terrain tools for landscaping like this before

I added bushes, cc trees, and walkable grass for the whole experience, otherwise sims won't route properly. I do have texture replacement for certain trees from basegame to expansion packs. some trees have falling leaves in the fall and I will add some leaf piles. I'm not sure if I need to add leaf piles since sims try to throw them away instead of rake them or play in them autonomously lol I took the trashcans off the first floor of the lot for that reason ..maybe they will form on their own when its autumn. it looks so nice since it's beginning of fall and it rained one night the leaves were falling while I was play testing the paths and it felt really nice to see..very atmosphere it just how I planned. I'd love to see this during fog. what I found is the hills I made are too high or pointy to where sims cannot walk and that's not good. So I plan to switch things around and adjust before I start making it more dense, adding more plants, harvestables and collectables.
