I remember a lot of people being angry that Chloe remembered Davis whom she's known less than a year, before Jimmy who she's known since high school and Clark she's known before that. They're forgetting what Chloe told Clark, the more she tries to remember someone, the quicker she forgets. So my theory is she was trying NOT to think about Davis and focus on Jimmy which is why he was the last one she remembered.

I have two theories as to why Chloe remembered Davis. One, she forgets people faster the more she thinks of them, and Davis would be the last person on her mind during something like this, and two; What Brainiac did to her purposely made her forget everyone else so that she would trust Davis more.

This episode was so good and I think this is around the time I stopped caring about Chloe/Jimmy and said bring in darkness to Chloe/Davis. lol I just felt the chemistry was much stronger and they could have a much more compelling storyline going forward from here. Now I think we all can ageee that the saddest part of this episode is the Chloe/Clark stuff… we have watched that friendship on our screens for 8 seasons and for her to forget stuff about Clark was heart wrenching and I loved getting in Chloe’s head where she tried to take Clark to other memories because he is so important to her and she couldn’t forget him. When she said people use to call her Brainiac as a kid. 😢 So well acted yet so sad. Also nice surprise to get Clark and Chloe’s first ever kiss! It was first reference in season 1, “Obscura” so nice for the writers to dig in that history to remember that!
