Laurel on Arrow IS Dinah. Dinah Laurel Lance. She goes by her middle name in that show because her mom's name is also Dinah. In the comics Dinah Drake was the original Black Canary, then she had Dinah Laurel with Quentin Lance and she took up her mother's mantle when she grew up. Since her mom doesn't play into this show at all, she just goes by Dinah (as she does in most other versions). Sidenote but I've always wondered if Clark could theoretically superspeed and dodge Dinah's screams.

I would also add it’s why in the scene when Dinah revealed who she was to Oliver in Arrow Season 5 Oliver smiled and said “My friend’s name was Dinah.”

I loved your reaction to see the introduction of Dinah Lance aka Black Canary on this show! It's always great to see Green Arrow. gain when it comes to Clark and Lana, Clark has a right to feel hurt that a woman he thought knew him better than anyone didn't notice it was NOT HIM for a month. When it comes to Lana, she is correct by the hypocritical standards that Clark holds many to however when it comes to this storyline to believe Clark should just move on and suck it up just doesn't make sense. Lana believed she was finally meant to be with Clark, and it's when he was the Phantom. That shows a lot wrong with their relationship. If anything I think this season shows how much Clark and Lana are not meant to be. Lana knows the whole truth about Clark and now she's keeping secrets from him and they can't make the relationship work. Also Clark made a point about Lana not only falling in love with Clark but she fell for Lex and then the Phantom. They are just not the same people they are in high school and it's been a long time for them to face that. This shows exactly why I have/had an issue with them reuniting this season, after everything that happened with Lex and the growth of Lana. I felt Clark and Lana although they loved one another, outgrew each other. Another big issue with Clark and Lana is knowing that they most likely won't end up together. At this point, it's just the ticking clock of WHEN it will be over...

Clark's friendship with Lex was definitely keeping him in check, I think. Now that they're not friends, Lex is spiraling downward. One thing I disagree with(mostly) from what Lana said about Clark's hypocritical judgment is that Clark usually only keeps secrets to protect his friends. There's definitely been times he's done some hypocritical things, but most of the time he's not keeping secrets just because he knows the other person wouldn't like it, like Lana here.
