The Atelier Tier: The Big Picture (Patreon)
Content
The Atelier Tier, so far, has been an exciting vehicle to move your education forward in a more structured way. So, let's talk about the future and what's in store:
1. Schedule Moving Forward
Just like an in person atelier we will have breaks so I can build up all of the lesson notes, demo footage, and background work it takes to put out each lesson. For me, 3 months in a row is probably too many and I can't keep up that pace. What it will look like in the future is: 2 months on, 2 months off. During those "off months" I will be releasing different lessons. For example, in August I am putting out a lesson from a guest instructor, Patrick Byrnes.
You all are responding really well to the assignment deadlines and group critiques. We are keeping those! Every month there will be a deadline to turn in your works and a group crit will follow for each lesson.
Let's also talk about the long term plan for the Atelier Tier. Without making too rigid of a schedule I want to show you the roadmap.
2. Assignments
This is the order of the assignments without specific dates associated to each. This flexibility is important if only to ensure that we don't lose momentum or interest at any point.
Some projects added or subtracted from this list based on necessity or importance.
- Bargue 1, Venus de Napoli, graphite (done)
- Baugue 2, Belvedere Torso, graphite (done)
- Cast 1, Eye of David, graphite (done)
- Cast 2, St. Andrew, graphite & white chalk (2 months)

3. Livestream Schedule
Most months the lessons will be live, others not. This schedule is for any month in which the lessons are broadcast live.
1st stream of each month will take place on the 1st Saturday of the month, 4-6pm Oslo time.
2nd Stream (when necessary) will take place on the 2nd Saturday of the month, 4-6pm Oslo time.
Due date for submitting assignments will be between the 3rd Friday of the month. This is the day before the group crit.
Group critique will be the 3rd Saturday of the month.
Monthly Schedule

Some of you, I am sure, will be really pumped about this direction and some less so. I totally get that. My priority is to do the best I can for the content and delivery. I think that what is best for the student will follow that naturally.
