This is the First of three parts and it goes through my use of graphite, white chalk, and gouache to make this painting. My paper here is Stonehenge toned with a bit of black Higgins ink. What is in that yellow lead holder around time: 2:11:00

I have tried this paper toning method with Higgins ink and the same Stonehenge paper, but using black ink, I got a much more bluish tone. Did you use black ink for this, or the Higgins brown?
