Shes a good example of like all the cool shit I wanna make that I lack the technical skills to really do well. I wanna go harder on the anime VFX shit to do all the wavey sword stuff she does so I can go actually animate it.

Kinda. It works the same way that it has a trigger action for the quick draw. Theres a bit of influence of Nero's Red Queen for the motorcycle handle and flames, Sam's launching mechanism, and the proportions are based on a real life odachi.
