mars rambles about comic making (Patreon)

wanted to give a lil update on the progress of ROD because.. i like talking about it  :^)

i'm still in the early stages of getting the plot figured out. i have a lot of scene ideas written down that i gotta organize in a way that makes an actual start to finish story haha. i've been using trello to write out scene notes, and then organize them in the different lists... it's so handy omg. the site's not even made for this purpose but it's like the best plot organizer i've found so far LOL

some things still on my to-do list (besides actual plot outlines):

• finish buzzie, phoenix, kerry, and sawyer's refs
• design justine, tyson, milton, kelly, granddad, malique, and royce
• concept sketches for everyone's cars (oh god)
• concept sketches of lucky's room, vick's room, mechanic shop, the diner, probably a bunch more
• make some full-color test pages.. like a little pilot episode.....

wow i have a lot to do. that's fine tho i go crazy wacko if i don't have a project to work on so this is perfect for me.

it might not even be for another year before this comic is launched, but i have so many things planned for it and it's just been a blast to work on

i dunno yall i'm just so stupid excited for this story. it's everything i like mixed into one Q___Q all i wanna do is draw it and talk about it. and it's nice being able to share the process

and LE is in a rly exciting place in the story right now too so it's like??

i might be a little high from medication and i dont kno how to act when it's all bright and sunny outside BUT the point still stands that comics is Fun...
