Big patreon changes coming soon! (Patreon)

TL;DR: revamping patreon soon so it's not primarily focused around just Long Exposure, new tiers, changing to "per-month" charging, bigass LE merch giveaway for patrons

UPDATE FOR THIS POST HERE 12/3/19

Hey dudes!! SO as you guys are probably aware, Long Exposure is coming to an end soon. which is equal parts exciting and sad... i'm so pumped to be completing this passion project and for you guys to finally see the conclusion, but i'm gonna miss working on the comic! (finishing the story doesn't mean i'm going to suddenly stop drawing Mitch and Jonas and the other characters tho, i love them hahah so don't worry about that!)

But because it's ending, it means I'm gonna have to revamp my patreon to reflect my art as a whole, and not just LE! i'm excited to start sharing more of my other characters, as well as introducing y'all to the new story ideas... (eyes emoji)

SO WHAT ARE THESE "BIG CHANGES"?

the biggest change is going from charging "per-creation" to "per-month."

PER-CREATION: Currently i charge 3 times per month, to account for all the content released. when i originally set up my patreon, i didn't expect it to become a full-time job, so i wasn't prepared to be making as much content as i am! Per-creation charging is best for creators that don't plan to deliver a lot of content consistently.

PER-MONTH: When I switch to charging per-month, the pressure to remember to make/charge content at specific times will ease significantly, and take a lot of stress off working. it also means I will be able to easier prevent content theft. It would charge one time, at the end of each month on its own, without me needing to tell it to manually. If for any reason I am unable to provide sufficient rewards one month, I can PAUSE my patreon page to prevent patrons from being charged!

because this transition would mean patreon only charges once a month, I have to adjust my reward tiers to reflect the changes. I'll have to create new tiers and unpublish the current ones, so when the change happens everyone will need to switch over to one of the new tiers on your own. it's a pain and I wish there were some way I could do it for you, but I can't!

with the new tiers i'll be adding some cool new rewards, and lowering the monthly price of some of the current rewards! so far, this is what I'm thinking the new tiers might look like:
