There are a lot of homeless LGBT teens in Utah because of the unaccepting Mormon population. There’s a couple of groups who do a lot of work there that are probably worth looking into

Time Out Youth is for LGBT homeless teens but I think it's only in North Carolina.

What a nice thing for you to allow and for the contributors to do. I don't know any off hand but as a mom, my heart breaks for kids who are thrown out of their homes for being who they are...any orginization that helps them has my vote!

There's trans lifeline which is like a hotline for trans ppl. Other orgs I know of are local like the Louisville Youth Group which is like a safe haven for LGBT kids in Louisville KY. You could also donate to Miss Majors Retirement Fund I think it is? There's the Audre Lorde Project in NYC which is specifically geared towards LGBT people of color.

I asked my friend and former professor for some recommendations, and she suggested donating to small, local organizations, community-based or even at local universities, since any donations can make a huge difference in what they are able to achieve. Also, on the more radical end of things, Against Equality (<a href="http://www.againstequality.org/)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.againstequality.org/)</a> is a super interesting organization that takes a critical look at the way we talk about, organize, and identify as LGBT+ people, and tries to rethink what our goals are as a community.
