American chocolate on its own can't hold a candle to the most average European stuff, for sure. But definitely a childhood (and adulthood) joy is the bag of Hershey's miniatures, especially the Krackle and Mr. Goodbars. They're great in little one-bite doses...pretty much crap in a whole normal sized bar. A staple of Halloween candy!

As an American I have to say that other than the Mr. Goodbar (which is my least favorite option in the Hershey's Miniatures package) not only have I never tried any of the others, I have never seen or heard of them.
