In America, a Mickey Finn is something you slip into someone's drink in order to knock them out. Good to know it's an Irish liqueur.

It's true! According to Wikipedia - was named after the manager and bartender in a saloon in Chicago that would drug and rob his customers during the late 1800s/early 1900s. Think it became popular in terms of slang with the whole Noir genre of detective fiction. Kinda makes me wonder if the Irish drink was named after the slang term or if it's simple coincidence.
