There are Plaice in Alaska so some on the west coast might have a chance. Though it's not a targeted species for commercial fishing and is often just by-catch by trawlers and sold as a generic "flounder" or "sole". Or people like me who have a weird obsession with fish marketing LOL And have stumbled across all these different species in the past.
