Forgot to say that they have a name for them Meals Ready to Eat, but most say Meals Rejected by the Enemy. lol

You'd think they'd remember they had MRE's in one video. Still better than the old military rations and miles ahead of the rations you could get as a civilian back in the 80's.

I remember getting the rations when we were in the military in the 80's. There was flour, cornmeal, canned milk, a box of cheese and elbow macaroni. We had a neighbor who hated the cheese so we often traded flour or macaroni for it. That cheese made the best grilled cheese sandwiches EVER.!!!!! We could get bread for 10cents a loaf at the commissary, so I would make grilled cheese sandwiches for my kids and all their friends.
