Last week I released my Every Pixar Movie Reviewed in 10 Words or Less video and recorded an unedited, long take of myself talking about all the Pixar films in greater depth up on Patreon. You can listen to the full Pixar reviews here, if you're interested.

Today I decided to give the same treatment for last year's Disney video along with it's Sequels! Of course, since this is nearly a hundred movies it ended up being VERY long. Nearly 2.5 hours! Because of that, I've split this recording up into two posts: One for every movie from the 1940's to the 1990s (Pre-Little Mermaid), and then this post, which is the more modern movies!

Movies are reviewed in chronological and sequels are grouped with their original movies, so even though The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning came out over a decade after The Little Mermaid, I still review them together.

Big Hero 6 actually DID get a TV show, it was created by the guys who did Kim Possible, I think it's pretty good, and they got everyone from the original voice cast to return except TJ Miller and Wasabi's VA, who is now replaced by Khary Payton

I'm not sure if you have figured it out yet, but Tarzan actually did get a TV show called Legend of Tarzan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Tarzan_(TV_series), and the episodes that were shown in Tarzan and Jane did air as separate episodes at one point. So Tarzan and Jane like Hercules: Zero to Hero, is a glorified collection of episodes/clip show episode. Otherwise, it's a nice listen.

Just became a patron, loved your content for a while now. Good job separating your subjective feelings of a movie from your actual rating, not a lot of people do that, so kudos!

It's weird. I agreed with pretty much everything you had to say about Frozen and Moana and yet my overall feelings towards them were the exact opposite of yours. (Hated Frozen, liked Moana.) Go figure.

Became a Parton to listen to the second half, would love one for the Dreamworks + Pokémon movies, etc :)

People love Brother Bear because of the Bob and Doug Mackenzie commentary.

Stitch the Movie was actually interesting to me because it served as the pilot for the Lilo and Stitch series where Lilo rehabilitates all of the other experiments.

Really is interesting seeing Jellos view on movies because its so different and bizarre. Like how he seems to judge movies as if they just came out today which leads to him ranking early disney movies lower and overrating some of the modern stuff. Like how do you you give home on the range a higher rating than snow white?

I rate movies on how enjoyable they are by modern standards because an audience watching them will have modern standards. When storytelling convention has evolved beyond older media I don't pretend it still holds up.

Wow thanks for the reply makes for an interesting view on movies since we've all seen that decades old movie for the first time hearing how wonderful it is and how it set standards. But some movies age much better than others.

Lion King 1 is a retelling on Halmet (sorta). And Lion King 2 is a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, which I think is really fun. So the reason the two leads are two dumbass teenagers in love is because... that's the plot of R+J. It's not a great movie or anything, but I've always really liked it.
