This went from insanely hard to figure out as the most complex destruction i've ever used to being kinda cool to check out how destruction is truly art directed and never left to chance as much as I thought.

Chugs like a mf'er though. Will have to keep that in mind for the future in city shots. Should make buildings be in their own scene rather than interact with each other. (Until they do, of course)

In the future, i'm sure destruction uses a mixed setup of static meshes moving around and all the chunks just fly off to reveal them. (Debris Particles and smoke too) What a strange and detailed yet cool world destruction is!

Looks cool, makes me think back a bit to the one in the bubblegum vid. granted that was a bit different but still.

Actually IS a reference back to that! Those "destructible" buildings were kinda weird where it was a few bones that pulled preset pieces apart.
