Hi everyone!

The last two weeks were a bit of a struggle, to be honest! I got sick with either covid or a bad flu which made working really difficult and I took some time off as well.

Around the same time bunny started feeling under the weather and had trouble with his eyesight. He started seeing double on his right eye only. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong physically with the eyeball, which led him to believe it must be a neurological problem. We were scared. He got eye drops and a salve he had to smear on his eyeball and after around two weeks the symptoms subsided.

Both of these made us believe it were probably some weird covid symptoms.

We're both better now luckily and did make some progress:


"Where aaare youuuu?"

"Hey, have you seen my slime friend? He got lost down here and I've been looking for him all day! He is about this wide and this round. You couldn't have missed him!"

Some sprites I made for some cutscenes! He's going to show up in the next level and Kincaid has to help him find his gooey friend!


Acid Hazard

The main themes of the level are going to be water and the poisonous acid sludge.

Going with the theme I started working on a falling acid hazard:

Slippery Slopes~

Another mechanic we are utilizing a lot in the cistern levels are slippery slopes.

Transitions between all the angles was tricky, here are some ideas we had but ultimately we chose the less noisy one



Love is in the air

Two unlikely lovers are having a secret meeting in the jungle. I wonder what they're going to do if they feel unobserved~

These are part of a little minigame you'll have to do to unlock a new scene involving them!

More Jank Fixes

Ziplines were another movement option that still felt incredibly janky, not to mention that in most angles you could actually just jump back up.

Null overhauled them a lot because they're an important mechanic in the level.

While at it, he also added some visual effects we had planned from the start but didn't finish in time back when we first introduced them! xD
