As for context:

The Wonderbolts are next in Pinkamenas Friendship list. Pinka joined them with the pretext that she developed a super efficient training program. Spitfire was the first to test it. The new training would require to use this special VR helmets that would attach to the head of the user and transmit the programming directly to the wielders brain. After Spitfire fell into Pinkamenas trap, the other members of the Wonderbolts were forced to go through the new training. Rainbowdash objected and she was bound, brainwashed and broken by Pinkamena`s brainwashing techniques. Now the Wonderbolts only follow the commmands of their new leader Pinkamena.
