Hello! We have completed the design for our new crew member! The final form is a Female Shistavanen, trained by a mandalorian with a focus in heavy weaponry. The personality trait poll worked way better than I had hoped, and the result is that our new crew member is calm, professional and focused, but tends to have a positive outlook.

Originally I wanted to also let you guys vote on their starting equipment, but how I'm working them into the story, that doesn't make any sense. That said, if anyone has any ideas on what kind of weapon Deacon should eventually buy a heavy weapons expert, or any other gear, feel free to mention/link it in the comments. If I like it and its reasonable, I might use it!

Personally, Star Wars has an absurd lack of indirect fire weapons, so I’d like to see a grenade launcher as a primary weapon. Or perhaps a micro-missile system like the Mando’a adore so much?

Apologies for double post, edit button isn’t working for some reason. It’s not as if Deacon doesn’t know the location of dozens to hundreds of places to go get more beskar, given all the old battlefield locations he probably remembers

Well as a primary weapon, my initial thought would be either a Light Repeating Blaster like the T-21 Light Repeating Blaster or DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle (both of them are Imperial designs so they shouldn't be too hard to get) but you could also give her a Light Blaster Cannon, held either underslung like the Z-71 rotary (but not actually the Z-71 ples), or designed like an actual rifle. A blaster cannon could be fitted either for high rate-of-fire or basically be a small artillery piece she just carries around-this works even better if the Mando she trained under was an Ordo. You could also go with some kind of grenade/explosive weapon as Danielle said, but that'd get pretty expensive to maintain. Micro-missiles would be on-brand tho, at least as like secondary/tertiary weapons. In terms of equipment, I suppose my suggestions would depend on whether she has a suit of Beaskar'gam or not, since propper mandoa battle-armor would have most of the bells and whistles I'd suggest built-in already.
