First off, I want to thank everyone for their support. Knowing in the back of my head that there are people who care enough about me and my writing to support me each month has helped me get through the last few weeks.

You may have noticed lower story output from me this month, and I want to apologize to everyone who has certain expectations of me.

This has been a rough August. Early in the month I got hurt, badly enough that lying down and getting a good night of sleep was hard, let alone sitting at a computer desk for hours to write, or even moving around comfortably. Speaking of "moving," I also had to move this month, which kinda came almost out of nowhere. You can imagine how hard it is to move everything you own when you wake up in pain each morning. Thankfully I had friends who helped out tremendously, or it might have been all but impossible.

Even with support, though, this month dragged my emotions way, way down. I was worried for a while that I might not get better soon. It's difficult for me to write fun, bouncy, naughty stories when nothing feels fun or bouncy.

I even dropped my writing streak. 197 days in a row, ended in one night. I was really looking forward to 200...

Fortunately, my health is improving daily. For example, right now I'm sitting at my desk feeling very little discomfort, and I am waking up pain-free most days of the week. I can see the sun peeking over the horizon. Also, I have a story from my writing backlog that I can post today as the Patreon Story of the Month.

Unfortunately, I have a few patrons who haven't gotten their commissions yet. Anyone who is waiting on words from me will get them, I promise! I really want September to be a new dawn for me, by catching up on August, finishing September, and then hopefully also starting a more traditional commission queue.

Thanks again to everyone who has stuck with me through the worst August of my life, and I hope to make it up to you all soon and prove it was worth it!

EDIT: Also, other good news. From now on my Google Docs links should all be set to allow you fine folks to leave in-line comments. Like a particular part, find a dangling participle, or have a sweet suggestion for a rough draft? Highlight a piece of text, right click your highlight, and select Comment. Feedback is welcome!
