Loved your reaction to the reveal in this one. Thought someone would have cleared it up but the zombie thing was a Wolfram and Hart defense in the case that the building was attacked. The building would lock down and any dead employees would turn to zombies to kill the intruders. It wasn’t a Beast thing. Lastly, even though this season had to be reworked and I have mixed feelings about certain choices made, it’s still is one of the more well written season long closed loop storylines told pre-streaming. Excited for the next one.

I'm going to be a downer. I hate season 4, but your reaction in that last minute was gold. lol. I hate the season so much I can't even remember if I had the same reaction anymore, so to see a fresh reaction was the best. I am excited for the next few episodes, they are the only reason I watch season 4 at all, and sometimes, they're some of the only episodes I watch from it in a rewatch. They're top tier Angel despite belonging to this season for me. lol. Season 4 is just... whatever. I am excited to see what you think of it at the recap and then after season 5 when you have the whole series to compare. Some people dig season 4. I don't get it, but to each their own. :)

That's so funny! I was literally just thinking the opposite. I've only seen Angel once or twice, but I remember hating season 4 and now watching it again I'm like....why?? This has actually been pretty great (besides the Cordy/Connor yuckfest) but like, we're on episode 12 and every episode (okay, well most of them) this season has been (imo) killer! Haha, I'm excited to see where it goes from here (I only remember the big picture stuff, none of the play-by-play cause it's been a couple years since I saw it) 💃🎉
