I am so fucking excited for the finale! Tuesday cannot come fast enough, honestly! Also, Buffy's flashback to Dawn being born and being hesitant to accept her but ultimately asking her mom if she can be the one to take care of her? Always breaks my heart. An obvious metaphor(?) for the future, that she has to take care of Dawn after Joyce passes, but a really emotional one nonetheless

One of the things I love about this episode is when Buffy explains to Willow what happened in the magic shop - for that one moment, she gave up. She wanted it all to be over. And that is exactly what Spike told her was the doom of all slayers...

One note: Yes Ben did switch quite quickly from protecting to Dawn to turning her in, but since he and Glory are merging, she becoming more caring and guilty, it stands to reason that he is also becoming more selfish and amoral.

2023-05-27 05:04:16 So Buffy and Glory both feel guilty about killing Dawn... and in this ep Glory shouted "Get out Get out Get out", just like Dawnie did in Blood ties... and Glory and Buffy both have an annoying sibling that makes their life not so easy but are essential to them... hmmm I feel like there's a metaphor somewhere.. we'll see after the finale 😉
