I love this season and seeing Spike and Angel together and bickering and being “frienemys” is very fun. I do miss Cordy though and James said he didn’t realize it at the time but has recently is that they took the money/spot from Charisma and gave it to him. They couldn’t afford both. But like you said, getting to explore more of the past between Angel and Spike now that they both have souls is a good new dynamic for the show.

I'm so excited watching you react to all the changes! In my last rewatch I stopped right after season 4 and found you, so I decided to watch along and wait to watch season 5 with you, so I'm a bit fuzzy on things right now, because it's been quite a while since I've seen it all the way through and in order. Plus, if I haven't mentioned it a million times before ;P season 4 is my least favourite and so the fact that I've rewatched season 4 twice now with no season 5 yet is the worst! lol Not to mention watching an episode a week is killing me! It's like watching it on TV. lol But I'm just super excited about it! I love watching you develop theories about what is going on. This is so much fun! :D
