Hello there!

I'm bringing you some crunchy new info about the development of our new game. Recently, I've been mostly focused on making animations. I've just finished two animations for a new enemy and I'm super satisfied with how they turned out. Here are some previews:

Scene 1:

Scene 2:

I really do like how she turned out! With these additions, our new game now boasts a total of three animations. I intend to include them in the first Patreon version of the game.

So what's left for the first demo? Still a lot, actually. I need to implement the actual battle system for the game and finish the maps, puzzles, and enemy dialogues. And of course, the demo still needs some finishing touches.

Now, let me reveal a cool little mechanic that the game will have: random events. When the game starts, the player will be assigned a random number. This will influence some random elements in the game, such as lightning strikes, falling objects, room accessibility, item placement, and more. Don't worry, I'll make sure this randomness won't affect actual progression in a negative way. It's merely a way to make the game unpredictable. And to hide some easter eggs for you guys to discover~ :P

I'd like to thank all of you who still support me! I genuinely believe that this project will surpass Drain Mansion in every aspect. I'm super excited, and I can't wait to release a playable version for you guys!

I think that's really cool actually! Gives it a nice feeling of replay-ability due to the progression path possibly changing with the rooms. Also helps keeping everyone on their toes with the random scares with the items and lighting
