Everyone is so against Evan and Airan moving on with their lives while not knowing what’s actually going on with Nathan and Sean. For all we know Nathan and Sean also moved on to and when we see them next is when they are 18 years of age and in college. Do we really expect them to wait until then with their hormones running rampant and at that age?

I haven't seen "everyone against Evan and Airan." I see more support for them than against them. I don't see enough people commenting about a broken promise. Maybe Sean and Nathan have also moved on. So be it, but on the side we're privy to, doesn't look like Evan or Airan even made an effort to settle their promises. Sean and Nathan left. The universe forgot about technology and web-chat, and those of us who hate seeing "cheating" are a little upset. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Doesn't mean we hate the story now. If anything it means we're very vested like we personally know the characters.
