MY NEW WACOM (Patreon)

As you know I make all my art in my Wacom Cintiq tablet UX21U.

That monster machine has been working for me for over 13 years and shows no signs of stopping, but:

OS systems need upgrades, and although my Mac 27 is 8 years old and also runs perfectly fine, every time new software is installed, the fear of both machines not working together scares the hell out of me.

Finally, It happened, the past 6 months all Photoshop shortcuts I use to make my workflow faster started to give me trouble, and after Clip Studio Paint was installed, the issues got worse.

They are fine as units, nothing is broken, but they can’t talk fluently to each other no more.

Only solution? Getting a new Wacom.

Those machines are really expensive (Cintiq 24 pro is $2500) but I need it to make art, then, I got a new one!

The old one came with It’s own standing support, but the new one not, and If you want one, the extra tag is $500.

Long story short, I have wonderful friends, and with a tape measurement and some spare plywood, I have my unique stand to get my new Wacom working in the right angle for me.

Wish me luck, hope I won’t need anything new in the next 10 or more years, and, with all the support I got from my incredible
