In my second update, I wanted to showcase a little test I've been running with my good buddy Yusuf. We were originally working on a isometric test for Dungeondraft, but when we ran into a bunch of issues (as I've mentioned in one of my previous posts) I decided to let Smitchell take a run at some of my isometric designs and postpone further development on the project until further notice.

That cleared up some headspace for a second project for our Dragon Tier, building 3D Dungeondraft assets that allow you to build your own buildings (in papercraft or cardboard) on top of our 2D maps. I've actually built the first model of one of these buildings, a 3 story building that you pop open on every level and place minis inside and we're working on a second test of a little church concept.

The textures for these buildings can be fully customized to build your own buildings within Dungeondraft, just like we've been doing for top-down maps before. We'll finish up a small pack first, do a couple of test runs and you'll see more on this as it develops!

ANIMATION

The second project I'm working on is to bring some movement to our maps again as I'm working on animating more objects on a regular basis again with a buddy. All Gold Dragons can expect some more news on this in the following weeks as well. We're currently running some tests in a different system than I used before.

DISCORD WEEK

I had originally planned on doing a couple of discord nights last week where I work on requests for a couple of hours on the discord dungeondraft channel. With some life things that became a bit difficult to organize so instead I've decided to do a whole Discord Request week! Anyone who has requests for assets can stop by the discord to put in a personal request for an object and I'll go through as many as I can the whole week. I'll make an announcement every day at the start so you know when I'll be on there.

STARTING: Monday 14-08-23

People who have been sharing maps can put in requests for a mini "scene" or more complex object as my way of saying thanks for sharing with the community.

I actually want to try my very best to keep this going after the week is over and organize more request moments where I'll join you in chat and design as many requests as I can.

CONTACT

I plan on using the DISCORD CHANNEL for any questions, as usual, still having lots of issues with the Patreon chat or you can hit me up at crossheadstudios@gmail.com
