Hello folks!

It's been a minute, but I've been working on one of the most significant updates for my Dungeondraft assets, with a goal to take mapmaking in the software to the next level. CH - Biomes are a collection of 9 packs that make it possible to flip the environment / the location of any map you are working on by simply switching out one Biome pack for another.

The packs contain about 500 new assets with mainly lots of new terrain textures, paths and expanding some nature objects (all these objects can also be found bundled up in a separate pack called elements (lava, ice, etc.))

To help launch this particular project I took some extra time to build several test maps with the help of Zoe, whose been creating some unique environment maps with me (more on that later), I made a youtube video tutorial on how to use the assets, I've uploaded save files for my personal test map and the Photoshop file used to turn them from Dungeondraft export to post-processed maps (Find that HERE) and last but not least Autumn has play tested the assets in a big battlemap to test changing the environment for large building maps (Find those on Crossland).

The idea here is that if people use the BIOME packs as advertised, we could have a platform where they can share their maps (and Dungeondraft save files) for users who would love to turn said map into another setting. I could keep adding more Biome locations and environments (something we could have a poll on later, feel free to drop suggestions on Discord or here in the comments!).

Dungeondraft Tutorial | Creating D&D maps for any environment with BIOMES

00:00 - Introduction 01:21 - 1. Dungeondraft 04:45 - 2. Photoshop I've just finished a massive update for my dungeondraft assets that allows users to change the setting/environment of any map that uses the pack from winter, to desert, to summer or to an underdark lava setting by simply switching out the matching dungeondraft asset pack. This will allow users to share maps and switch them from one environment to the next with the click of a button! You can download these maps (HD, gridded and ungridded) and their dungeondraft save files for free at https://crossheadstudios.com/battlemaps For more info on my assets for check out https://crossheadstudios.com/dungeondraft/ If you'd like to support my content directly and get access to all DungeonDraft asset packs and my animated assets, check out my Patreon for more info: https://www.patreon.com/Crosshead If you'd like to come and chat with me and other creators feel free to stop by my discordchannel: https://discord.gg/vSPZHMuHnJ If you'd like to see more of the maps I created here and the adventure I write for them, check out my website: https://crossheadstudios.com/ #dungeondaft #battlemap #battlemaps #dungeonsanddragons #dnd #photoshop

It would be really cool to have some sort of death, necrotic, or apocalypse kind of biome. That way you can have a map, then something terrible happens to the land and you have an easy swap

I am having the same issue, but for me non of the asset packs is showing in Dungeon Draft is there already a known way to fix this?

Out of curiosity are the BIOME packs for the seasons meant to replace the SEASON packs too? Or will those be updates separately as a different thing?
