For the past couple of months I've been working behind the scenes with a good friend of mine (who worked on art for the Witcher games) to bring isometric to Dungeondraft. Something I've been wanting to do for quite some time now (I've actually worked on this with 5 different people over the years, something I decided to hold off on talking about until I had something actually coming to fruition).

The goal of this project is to build a big collection of buildings for you to create your own isometric cities and then also build premade prefab topdown buildings that will map the inside of these buildings. It's something we're doing as part of a side project called Crossland, which I'll talk about in the next post, but you'll find these assets right here for you to build your own city in isometric and make it super easy to create a topdown version of your map using the prefab topdown buildings.

These maps (as you'll see in our Crossland project) can then be linked to instantly travel from your isometric map into your topdown ones. It's something I experimented with a year ago, doing all of these steps on my own. Now I've got some friends to help me along the way to take this idea to the next level!
