It's up to 20.3k total words (not counting character creation) (Average playthrough length is 10.1k words, but that includes character creation).

This update is the flight from New York to San Francisco.  I've tested it thoroughly; it should be clean other than maybe some typos.

BUT if you find a bug please report it.

I've also made some tweaks based on forum feedback (I tweaked the mention of Savior's loyalty imprint/helmet stuff, I took away an Ouch modifier during Black Bullet, as I felt one was enough, and I added a stat boost that is archetype-dependent as a concession to folks who felt their old background should be more of a factor in their new build)

As always, you folks get the first notification of update - I'll post this to the forums later today.

I'm already diving into the next update as I practice social distancing (other than work). Stay safe and I hope you enjoy the new content!

Honestly a mild boost just seems like a sorry your old files don't matter move. I put a lot of thought into my builds and have them set the way I want them. I have some files with stats in the 14s. All that focus just seams pointless now.

Honestly, looking at it from a story perspective, your progress over Parts 1 and 2 is insignificant. The following scale isn't exact, but it's approximate, so I'll use it as an example: Let's use the Zenith/Power scale of 1-10. We can further break that down to a 1-100 scale, using tenths. So basically your character with mostly 13s and 14s would score like a 1.3 or 1.4 on the Power scale, out of 10. So you're still insignificant. Take away your gear, which is lost or burnt to a crisp, and you're down closer to a 1.0. I've essentially bumped you from a 1.0 to about a 6.0 with the power-up. That's the equivalent of dozens and dozens of pieces of gear from Parts 1 and 2....(more)...

And at a 6.0, all that does it put you in the mix of respectability. You'll still have a long way to go through all of Part 3 to become a big-time threat, which will be quite a journey. Yes, if I could write it all over again, I definitely would have planned for more gradual improvement, and I would have bumped your MC a lot more in Part 2, but I'm still a new writer and I've made a lot of mistakes in plotting, balancing, etc. I just need to do what needs to be done to get the story over the finish line. I really think you'll have fun with part 3 if you stick with me! But I understand if you aren't inclined to do so. Eric

Man I've been with you for going on 6 years I ain't leaving now. Lol. And I realize that it's still a huge power boost it's just sucks I put in all that thought and energy in for almost nill once you start to reach the finish line. I'm also really into the third installment and am awaiting updates and release on the edge of my seat. Your still my favorite choose your own path writer to date, as I love how immersive the story is thru out all the installments. I realize you cant make every one happy and mine is a minor complaint just one that bums me out. Please keep up the excellent work!
