That refix of killin' it was everything I wanted and more. This show continues to be my favourite because you can HEAR and see sooo much!!

I now know exactly what's bugged me about his singing and I hope i managed to verbalise it clearly. Even with those negatives, he still has plenty of traits that definitely work for him!

Enjoy!

Can you please react to Ten’s album and the title track “Nightwalker”

kendricklmao

ohh his tone is interesting. has the crow sound without being annoying and also love his music taste, but the cursive pronunciation gave me the ickkk

It’s a major pet peeve of mine when people leave an irrelevant comment asking for something I’m already aware of lol. I’d prefer you DM me if it has nothing to do with the reaction because I find it a little disrespectful.

seungtakho

You see, although I completely agree that he can open up his notes more often; personally one of my favourite parts of his voice is how he pulls his phrases back in.

Not Keeho's runs fixing your hiccups 🤭 but yeah I agree with you and the thing is I know for a fact that he CAN open his mouth up and make big sounds but some singers value style over openness. As long as it's a choice I'm fine with it especially cuz he never belts SUPER high while being closed to damage his voice in any concerning way.

Koko3op

Exactly he’s still a smart singer and seems very intentional which I like!

you really are the only reactor that gets me. you catch everything I do and we agree on a lot and it makes me so happy lmao. one if not the only reactor that doesn’t hold back and ACTUALLY tells the truth without sugarcoating 😩 🫀

you can be a great singer and still have some negative parts THANK YOU not everyone gets that.

omg now that I’ve seen your response to the recommendation, I’m sorry for requesting last time, but I can see what you’re saying by how he doesn’t open his mouth much and I appreciate you for reacting sorry again 😞

Koko3op

Hahaha omg thank you so much! Stuff like this makes me feel good too!

If that's how Keeho likes his arrangements, I'll be waiting front row for some solo work 😂😍

I also think that with Keeho, I absolutely love his tone and the basics of his voice, so I can see so much potential if he worked on those parts of his technique. Whereas a lot of other singers don't have the base, and then also have those issues, so I kind of lose hope with them, if that makes sense? I really do hope he works on it, cause i agree - when he's more open in the lower end of his register, its so gorgeous 🙌 (side note, caught myself literally physically nodding along to your explanations in this video 😂😂😂 i guess that's how much i agree 🤷🏼‍♀️ hhahah)

girl I didnt know I signed up for a music class when I clicked on this video? the way I got so excited when I understood what you were pointing out lol

I haven’t heard any P1Harmony songs but his voice is beautiful! I can see what you mean re tension! Now I want to try to find a clip of him belting bc it sounds like he has so much potential

Koko3op

Haha I love this! I'm glad my thoughts are clear enough to be understood!

i loveee keeho’s tone sm & definitely noticed him pulling back a lot here but like you said, it was definitely intentional for what he wanted his sound to be like for the songs he chose!! he actually does belt on quite a bit of their songs as an adlib or leading into the last chorus of title tracks, like for their Scared title track! iirc he was more open with his voice on his john legend cover if you ever wanna check that out if you haven’t seen it!

Kim Bumsoo is gonna be next weeks guest, I hope you react to it. He's known as one of Korea's best singers/vocalists - sort of like a male Sohyang. The preview of the duet goes crazy https://www.youtube.com/shorts/HW_pRuvS_9Y

Went straight to the search bar to see this reaction, after just watching the Chenle post. Looking forward to watching! Keeho, has recently become one of my favorite vocalist in KPOP with just discovering him with P1Harmony's latest comeback, so I had to see if you had reacted. It could be that his tone, and style is so reminiscent of singers I have grown up with, that I find listening to him so comforting, but what I also love is it doesn't sound forced to me, it sounds like he has studied a lot of greats to hone what was already naturally gifted to him...it feels effortless. And I 1000% agree that this rendition of "Killin' It" needs to be released, asap! I also notice the pull he does, and I wonder if it's because he has to hold back a bit being that his voice is quite colorful for "KPOP"(a very R&B coloring) and could be considered too much, so I wonder if it has become habitual, because when I watch their content and he is singing randomly he seems much more relaxed and free to express vocally when he's being playful. I also notice with many KPOP singers the genre tends to love high ranges, high keys even if the singers are naturally stronger in the mid to low. I especially notice this for the foreign artist who then sing in their native language and sing lower, but when singing Korean sing much higher and are often required to. You made a great point about the closeness on the mic, and I saw in their content that they call him loud quite often, I wonder like he stated about still being very new to the culture makes him hyper aware as well, so I wonder if it is a self conscious reaction to hold back, as like you stated ones singing voice is quite vulnerable. With him being still quite young, and someone who seems to like working on his skill, I can only imagine how much better he will get with time, and hopefully feels more relaxed and free to express all the colors of his voice and not hold back. Anyhoo thank you for reacting, I really appreciate the insightful responses to what you are hearing, you can tell that you take it all in, with great intention to breakdown what is being heard. As a singer myself who is still constantly learning about my own voice, the insight is greatly appreciated.

Koko3op

Ahhh thank you so much!! Very interesting points you've added there, it truly shows how psychological singing is and all that makes sense. Also as much as I love long comments if you can try and added some more spacing and paragraphs that'll be great so it's a bit easier to read haha. Thanks
