Babyy SM EXCELLED on this list this year LOOOL. 

As pink blooded as I am, I'm not biast! I doubt they'll be any surprises here. Also most these aren't particularly "BAD" songs, mostly underwhelming. But some are objectively boring, uninspired and overly simple which to me makes a bad song lol.

This isn't going on YouTube right? But I agree with a couple of these and especially Tressure. Not interested in YG groups anymore. Also the solos from the BTS members except V didn't sit well with me.

This was fun. Folks always show their faves so it's nice to see the worst. I wasn't surprised lol. Man Baggy Jeans is probably the worst song for me. I'm still like wtf. SM and their many identity crisis. Too many let downs, NCT (all units) , Red Velvet, Taemin. Aside from the SM fails my other biggest disappointment was XG because I'm so excited for their potential and we got basic ass New Dance? Really? That was the move? Smh. Anyway last year I got Exo back and Taeyeon back so that's enough to wash away the rest of the disappointments. Looking forward to what this year brings in music. And also Happy New Year to you!

I agree with you on every song except for "Guilty". While it's definitely not the most original sound and something fresher would have been nice from Taemin, it's still a great song production wise, he showcases his voice, the strings are lovely and the video has an interesting concept too. So while I'm with you, that he could have done something more out of the box, it's not fair to be on the same list as atrocious songs like (sorry jimin) "Set me free" haha. "Fuck all your opps" is nr.1 on my worst lyrics list this year...like what opps?

Jaw actually dropped seeing trouble at #1 bc that song went triple platinum in my car and room 🤣 LOOL but everything else is a hard agree SM did not deliver this year and I hope they get their shit together in 2024 :/ happy new year, thanks for all the fun reactions you’ve made in 2023!!

2023 was the year that I realized that the reason I don't like Jimin's music is because I don't like his voice. My list includes his music, you and me by jennie, young dumb stupid by Nmixx, Taeyang Shoong or Shalala I forgot the title, and anything Itzy released. And this is off the top of my head. I didnt mind Talk Saxy because it has its moments lol.

I was bombarded by Talk Saxy’s bridge for few days on TikTok, I kept even rewatching every videos that I watched because it was good, Sohee was fantastic, and when I finally decided to listen the entire song my jaw dropped. I finally witnessed the saying: “Have you have ever listened the rest of the song from good part and you discover the song is actually bad” this is the example. Still, the bridge is just amazing I loved it.

I could not agree more about Baggy Jeans. How was THAT the follow-up to The 7th Sense – hello? And Queencard I found unbearable, and absolutely not the kind of sound I like/want from (g)idol.

some of my worst songs of the year were ETA by newjeans, set me free by jimin, s-class by stray kids, and istj by nct dream. baggy jeans and queencard are not for me but i put them in their own special campy category that is like, post-criticism dfsljkfhsd.

I just had a thought on my all NCT sub units were disappointing comment. I must edit that because the DJJ sub unit was a nice surprise. I hated all their other unit title tracks although Fact Check is finally tolerable now.

Chill Kill, Set Me Free and Baddie are particularly awful for me. As a Jimin bias, I was offended by that song lol. Baggy Jeans is legit one of my fav songs of the year lmao that’s the only one that hurt me!

Honestly I get it. I must just be the most easily pleased person however because over half of these are some of my top songs of 2023. But to each their own! I can definitely see why the songs on this list were not it for you.

WHERE MY CHILL KILL SHOOTERS AT?! I love this song and the vocals on it but I get that it's not for everyone. I saw No.6 and was like "Who is this?" Outside of Bang Yedam, my brain refuses to retain any information about Treasure. Also at the No.1 spot... I hate to say it, and I hope I don't sound ridiculous, but who are they? Also, Queencard is a masterpiece. I will not be swayed. It's like Pink's Stupid Girls MV levels of camp (but that one aged pooooorly, such a pick-me anthem if ever there was one).

Not Trouble being on this list?! And NUMBER ONE on top of that?!!! Trouble is one of my absolute favorite songs released last year. I agree with the rest of this list though. Although, Talk Saxy, including the Ra Pa Pa part grew on me. My #1 worst song released in 2023 is One and Only by BND. That song irritates my soul. I have still yet to get through listening to the whole thing, and that song is barely three minutes.

seeing guilty on here hurt ngl BUT I definitely have to agree! nct are forever my ults but I was really struggling to keep my interest for them this year, aside froM DJJ and istj era I barely even remembered the releases...PRAYING that SM changes it up OR goes back to some old school sounds of theirs

I really loved Guilty and Talk Saxy, but damn I need SM to bring back the flavor because a lot of their releases this year have been very underwhelming. I strongly agree with the rest of the list tho, but music is very subjective and everyone has their own tastes. I like dramatic sounding songs and I also like funky sounding things, but I think there is a limit on how often the same vibe can be released by groups. I heard only half of Riize's new single, and I am somewhat disappointed. It is not my taste and I don't think that chorus is sonically pleasing at all. I personally have liked all of the singles released before, so hopefully when they actually release an ALBUM I can hear something more suitable to their own sound and something that shows more of the talent that i have heard. (i'm tired of artists releasing only singles and mini's, where are the albums??!!?)

This year really solidified it for me that YG really doesn't know wtf they are doing anymore. It's like they just aren't aware of public opinion, or they are stuck in 2015 or something. We have been asking for new sounds since a long time, but it is just the same thing every time. How do they have so many different producers, but they sound all the same. Babymonster really did it for me, they made a whole show that made the public fall in love with their talents, their voices, their personalities. And they just threw it all out the window by making them debut with a song that 1. Doesn't show their talents to the extent that they're capable of 2. Is nothing special on the ears and 3. doesn't showcase their personalities or musical sound at all. Like, it's actually kinda impressive how generic the song was

i don't agree with guilty being on the list but I respect your taste but i agree with EVERYTHING ELSE. Baggy jeans gave me the same second embarrassment that 2 baddies gave. Queencard was cringey. I love my body was........ no comment. Yg needs to change their producers entirely and the only bts members that have done it for me as solo artists are v and suga...... jhope is not for me but i see the vision.

the way i cant agree more. after watching the end of year performances as well, i realized that it was a horrible year/era for kpop (for me). new jeans missed (all annoying songs except 5 sec song get up). bts solos mostly missed. sm missed like taeyeon and do were so forgettable and nct, rv, aespa.. trash releases. yg doesnt even exist. riize, kof, billie has some potential but it's not giving yet. enhypen lost their sound. svt was mid especially after the last album. and these are artists i actually like lmao. half of 4th gen and all of 5th gen combined has probably 5 sangers. and every song has a fugly ass switch up or anti-drop
