SOO the first half of the album worked a lot better for me than the second half but I do think it's a great project from them. 

I was pleasantly surprised! 

Not particular song blew me away tbh but it's fine, Drama as a video was good enough lol.

For me this mini was such a letdown. Drama kind of grew on me as a song, and I kind of enjoy “You”, but otherwise nope 👎🏻 they look amazing and the concept is great though. The teasers were so good I think the sound just let me down. Oh well! Nice to hear your perspective though as always!

I love Drama, it has everything that I was missing from them. You was my favorite bside on here from the songs i haven't heard. Not my favorite mini from them but still enjoyed, so glad that the concert songs are finally out because they have been performing Don't blink, hot air balloon, and yolo at their concerts for months and they really are enjoyable live.

Omg I thought the same thing. Hot Air Balloon is definitely a song that I can see Red Velvet doing. Probably in their Red Flavor era

No because this album was okay for me being someone that ults aespa, but why do hot air balloon and yolo feel so much better suited in their previous album.. they SCREAM summer and to match the energy of drama and trick or trick, they should've replaced those two with i'm unhappy and salty & sweet... i do understand though because these are meant to be songs SM are throwing into 2 mini albums to prepare for their better ae1 full album next year. anyways thank you for your reaction i was refreshing my yt to see if you uploaded it haha!! overall a solid album imo but it defo lacked ESPECIALLY coming from billlie's album where it felt there was time put into all of their songs and then listening to this with dont blink and hot air balloon... slightly underwhelming in certain elements but drama carried it for me. Much love <3

I didnt have great hopes for this mini as i follow aespa a bit and knew most of the tracks from their concert freaking months ago Didnt like yolo and didnt think hot air balloon fit them. Dont blinck was ok ,the choreo is cute. And you sounded like the title of a bland ballad. When the teaser dropped i was like eh, this is sonically a mess... But im loving drama. Its not my type of song but it fits them so well. The chorus id definately an earworm and has enough good vocals and a not very cringey rap. Visually my fave mv, the sin city vibe love it. And the selling point for me: the attitude and presence, the tour has done them WONDERS because they were lacking a bit on that department before I will think of this as a single ahahah, just hoping it wont age badly

I wasnt feeling the title at first but now im obsessed honestly. They all just look and sound so powerful yet emotional in the best way. Karinas voice in that prechorus? Ughhhh i could say more but you get my point its just everything hahha

they're really the embodiment of vocals saving songs in my book. don't blink, yolo, and hot air balloon are not my cup of tea either but having solid vocalists save everything. drama and trick or trick have me very excited for what's to come! they're finally done putting songs from the concerts on their albums (aside from the solos) so i'm still praying we get a cohesive body of work similar to savage! they're killing this era so far though

I much prefer Giselle as a vocalist than as a rapper. Tbh I have find her vocal color/style when she raps kinda annoying

Apparently, Drama was originally about sustainability, trees, and global warming. Lee Soo-man presented the song to Aespa and it was so bad that they cried LMFAO. LSM definitely contributed some great stuff to SM, but he had to go. Plus he was allegedly siphoning money from the company and artists. They had to rewrite and rework the song once he was gone. This is why their comebacks have been so scattered and delayed btw.

I really love aespa's Title Tracks each time but I've really struggled to get into aespa's albums as a whole. I've tried each of their albums but they never stick for me. I guess its just my vibes vs theirs. Since RV's release clashed with theirs this time around, I've just gone back to an RV rotation By the way, which SM executive decides that after more than 1 year since RV's last release, they have a release date clash with aespa
