Well looool I did pre warn everyone and you all asked for it so no backsies or snide comments, you'll be removed from here!

On the other hand, there's a lot of potential here, I do wish she played around with her delivery more. Better/fresher production goes without saying.

Overall it's not terrible at all and is definitely easy to listen to but to review? it's just safe and predictable to the point where it feels uninspiring.

Enjoy!

This is gonna be long but I do agree with everything you said. “Safe” is the perfect word to describe the project. I do like most of the songs with “I know I know I know”, “Breeze” and “Dance 4 you” being my favorites (didn’t care for the last two). Knowing Wheein and her sound, I knew what to anticipate so I wasn’t disappointed as much. I do wished she had more variety in her vocals tho. She was so high and fluttery and it sounded nice but I just wished she’d have given some more textures. I know she can do it because I’ve been a fan of Mamamoo for years. I think trying to have a different sound and trying to make her own identity has led her sound to be like this because in her debut years she had a more balanced tone to her voice with more chest in there. It def works for Mamamoo cause Solar has that robust tone and belts, and Hwasa has that husky timbre of hers so it brings a nice balance but it falls flat in her solo stuff. Also, she needs to explore her agility more and be more experimental with her agility because she is def one of the more agile singers in Kpop. Again thank you for the review. Kinda know you wouldn’t be a fan of most songs but I just had to ask you to review it.

Yeahh some more textures would be great as well some more forward, cleaner belts to bring some different energy!

I like to listen to new albums when I'm doing something else or working because when a song breaks my concentration, that means it's GOOD (to me). Unfortunately, while this album definitely had some nice vocal moments or cool production things, nothing really stood out to me

Hmm, interesting comments. Even though I agree with you that I got tired of the same type of beat in alot of the songs, I have to say when I listen to Wheein's b-sides I know what I'm getting, which a feeling of calm and healing. And a lot of people want something attention grabbing which I LOVE (pink blood in disguise) but sometimes I simply want to chill and listen to airy vocals with pretty melodies. Her song Butterfly is a great example since it is one of my favourite songs ever, and when I'm listening to it it feels like I'm flying in summer rain. But anyway thanks for giving your opinion and have a great day!
