What a BEAUTIFUL instrument she has, I can see why it was recommended. 

I do feel though, I would like her to incorporate more dynamics in her volume especially because I don't feel as though she's added accent in her deliverance as she's so technically proficient.

about her belting (or lack there of in this vid), she was the main vocalist of iz*one where she was responsible for a lot of the very high belting in their songs which always had belts (E5 and above). as a result, she may have damaged her voice/regressed due to constant pushing. hence, she lightened her mix for her solo career (prob for longevity reasons)

there are like two episodes where the subs seem to be out of sync. i think this is one of them

Yess I was gonna comment this exact same thing. In IZ*one they were CONSTANTLY giving her lots of high belting parts rather than also utilizing the richer parts of her voice :(( She definitely changed her mix but she has said recently that she is actively still training her voice and finding the best methods for herself and strives to improve herself as a vocalist so I have hope that in the future she'll be able to nail a more efficient belting technique that won't damage her voice because we all know our girl can BLOW

Thank you for the reaction! I'm glad you enjoyed her voice and I really appreciate and agree with the your critics. The constant high belts they gave her while also not teaching her an efficient technique during IZ*one definitely hurt her voice & also scared her away from more risky vocals but I do enjoy that she has dug into the richer and deeper parts of her tone. She has a lot of wonderful covers and osts. My absolute favorite cover of hers is the one she released on her birthday while still in IZ*one called 지금껏 그랬듯 앞으로도 계속 - Cloud (not sure about the English title. Her original Casualty of Love cover that she auditioned with had more power since it was 6 years before she tired out her voice https://youtu.be/Bo81gCCBZio?si=XQ8IGRyh_JciP08V I also really love her b-side called Blank from her 3rd single album. She did a live clip of Blank that I think you might enjoy and also an It's live performance of her debut song Glassy along with her first comeback Love Shhh!

Ooooo thank you and yeah its a shame when companies do that, I hope she rebuilds her confidence to take more risks in the future.

What's funny is her previous cover of Casualty of love was right under Jessie J's when you searched it. When I had watched this Mujin service and heard her recent cover I was taken back by how subtle it was because she went viral for her previous one. That's what made me love her voice.

Finally subbed to patreon cause I just wanted to watch Sylvia’s react to TYs dingo… but I see this and omg I hope we get more Jo Yuri reacts too? I’m new here so I have yet to check everything out but I hope I find more reactions to female/gg’s🫶 I was hesitant to sub because I’m mainly interested in your female artist/gg reacts.
