COME HERE AND GET SOME! 

Soo Sunno and Jay were HUGE surprises for me, I somehow I missed all of that. 

Overall I would like ALL the members to really solidify their foundations in vocals so they develop their own styles, delivery and quirks because at the moment it all feels very uniform with slight variations of Heeseung's vocal delivery/tone. 

On the other hand, I know HYBE's priority's aren't vocals and it's more about a particular vibe which is an issue I find with most 4th gen boy groups tbh so I don't think this will change and it's all about taste and preference and definitely not the direction the K-pop industry is headed in but it's cool cos I have my 3rd gen groups too!

This is probably part of the reason 4th gen is being dominated by the GGs. This is why songs can get kinda repetitive for me when there is not much variation in vocal delivery/style between the members. For me, what’s the point of having that many members then? Lol To have a dance crew? Even the rappers sometimes sound like they are aiming for a stereotypical Kpop rap style. A lot of these companies just focus on having successful groups but don’t seem to prioritize nurturing solo potential for later down the road

i just really wish hybe got some good vocal coaches to work with them bc like these boys have potential but no guidance, heeseung i feel like sometimes tries to imitate singing styles and mannerisms rather than have his own which is a shame bc he has a good voice but he lacks that foundation, that sm training, same with the rest, its not easy for them

agreed!! i wish they were also given the attention they deserve. heeseung commented on how if he did not step up with helping in recording diirection/producing the song then the album would have been delayed even further than the 10 months they already had since a comeback!! super proud of him for doing so though.

i was also impressed by jay and sunoo!! i of course always knew they were great but im glad they showed it here. i wish especially sunoo was given more of an opportunity to show his voice. he got the least lines in bite me (9s) which was really disappointing. all of enha's vocals have improved so much and in my opinion sunoo has the second strongest vocal behind heeseung... and jay not too far behind sunoo. i loved when jay finally released a cover and showed everyone his vocals more so i'm waiting for sunoo to have that opportunity as well!!
