RIGHT I need some album recommendations, maybe not their best work first lol.

Or should I just do it chronologically like I'm doing with Red Velvet?

I love her voice so much!

Their best albums are I trust and I burn but if you don't want to start with their absolute best I'd say go with their full album I Never Die which is the Tomboy album! Or you could do their debut I Am which was super strong too

2023-06-23 13:09:38 I would suggest to just go chronologically but midway from "I Burn" onwards, which means Burn > Never Die > Love > Feel. Long winded reasons why (mostly personal to my taste) - "I Trust" came before Burn but its just 4 songs, 2 of which, you are highly familiar with: "OMG" & "Lion". You could do a short reaction if you want - "Uh Oh" & "Dumdi" are singles - Before that, would be "I Made", the early album where you want to write everything yourself to prove something. It feels unpolished now, so I feel its more for a deep dive - Before that, its "I Am", their debut album, which is good but sounds the least like the Idle we know now. The B-sides here are mostly outsourced like how most groups do it. So, it shows a different path of how Idle may have evolved - If you are interested in how Idle sounds working with other writers, then Miyeon's solo album "MY" may be the better listen now

2023-06-23 13:09:38 On Yuqi specifically, I agree with you (as usual). She's my bias in Idle but she is still behind Minnie & Miyeon in terms of skill. But, her singing improvement year-on-year is actually quite amazing, since she was almost amateurish at debut.

yuqi is my favorite idle member and she’s one of those hard work pays off kind of idol! once you see their old stuff, im sure you will agree how much she has improved since debut. i have always loved her tone and im glad she’s able to sing more and improve at the same time. i love her solo songs too! 🫶 thank you for reacting!
