But I don't mind cos Peaches is SUCH TOP TIER work that i feel like Kai made for ME loool so it's fine if i don't like this project. 

It may grow on me especially in a club setting but I'm not eager to revisit it.

I think it's kinda weird that he took the trap turn too, but do wish he'd maybe integrated more of that r&b sound as well because he's GOOD at it, but I also know that he spent a lot of time choosing these songs and choosing something different so he's not boxed in or repetitive. it's gonna be interesting when he's back and we see what direction he decides to take. that being said, i love this album, but i do enjoy these elements. i'm sorry it wasn't what you were hoping for, i hope one or more of the songs grow on you later on. thank you for your review and keeping it 100!

It's such a shame that it's not your vibe. I agree to an extent, I enjoy his rnb more as well. But at the same time, he's brought us something different once again. He really experimented with different sounds this time. Also I think after a year of touring he probably wanted something that would get the crowd going. I would say that trap is probs my least favourite genre, but his voice brings it in for me. I thought his voice actually sounded more confident than in previous albums. Either way, you still have an exo comeback before he enlists!

I agree, it's not my vibe. It's cool he's doing something different but I prefer his R&B vibes more. Seeing performances of the songs may help me enjoy them more but I'm unlikely to revisit any of the tracks.

I liked the album but didn’t love it. Im just waiting for the Kai Film to drop maybe that will make me love this album more.

I share the same sentiment. Kai’s musical evolution is one that I anticipate, however, this project was a lacklustre attempt at experimentation. Personally, Kai’s 1st mini-album had depth, coherency and identity; I think this was compromised in this particular project. A majority of the songs felt empty, rushed and not as attentive to detail. This album lacks the essence of Kai. Slidin’ felt natural and in my opinion, summer walker, sza or h.e.r would complement the sound very pleasingly.
