I'm not a fan of Hot still but the rest of the album is really good. Also helps that Woozi is the lead writer and producer on every song. I agree with what you said about wanting more vocal adlibs throughout the songs though, it would really elevate it. I guess the fact that they normally sing live, rather than lipsynch like some SM groups are doing atm (don't come for me! I'm a SM stan) means they avoid doing things that they wouldn't be able to consistently replicate live? Either way, a much better album than Attacca but I don't think it's touching the Your Choice b-sides atm

This album has had me by a choke hold and I have just started reemerging from my seventeen hyperfocus after bumping this album on repeat pretty much a month straight. I don't know if your opinion is the same about Ash, but kind of felt that way too for a while. Then when I got to checking out the lyrics and it made more sense to the kind of thematic point of the album why they put it that order. In an album about facing the sun, giving your all and burning it all up (...or down lol), Finishing with Ash said to me "here we go I put in my all in this album" (and didn't they? damn bro)' I burned it all to Ash and now we begin again." I am so curious what the next era will entail because of that choice. If you leave me is literally gorgeous af but to end an album like this on a song about wanting to die if you leave me and not being able to imagine being without someone seems like a kind of pitiful point to end such a passionately driven album concept. Ash wraps it up well and also gives a connotation to me of ready to start fresh and begin a new era. ....GOD can I NOT overthink these things so much LOLLLLL

Yeahh I hear you however they should be able to replicate those lives harmonies/ad libs in a unique way for live settings for sure!
