MY LOVES.

MY BABIES.

MY TALENTED BOYS.

This is MUSIC, this is ART, this is EXPRESSION!

They're ALSO entering their 4th/5th year stride just like ATEEZ and AESPA and it shows. The chemistry between the members, their own identities as well as their establishment of sound, the hard work is paying off.

I can't remember the LAST time I gave a song on an album a TEN.

I hope this year HYBE labels will allow their other artists to continue in their lore like this, this feeds my SOUL. I want 10% English lyrics MAX lol.

Enjoy!

ahhh i was waiting for this!!! I randomly woke up for water in the middle of the night and i’m not the type of person who waits up for comebacks, but i saw that the MV dropped and i literally listened to the entire album half asleep. They ate with this fr, i’ve been listening to it on repeat digesting it more walking around campus. I literally messaged my bff and asked her if we can go see them in concert because they’re coming 3 hours away in may 😭

lilac_pelican

omg yay!! i'm so happy you loved this album as much as i did, i just love watching how genuinely you enjoy music :) and for the people in the back - "HE WILL REACT TO HUENING KAI'S LEE MUJIN SERVICE!!!" i was dying when you kept saying that lmao also, just out of curiosity, are you ever planning on reacting to any of their variety content? obvi no pressure if you're too busy or just straight up don't want to lol, just wondering :)

Bricks01

Oh I was waiting for this… as soon as that dance break hit i was levitating. I do wish I had seen you react to the remix tho. I’m usually not one for remixes but this added that rock/electric guitar instrumental that I’m just a sucker for. Loved the video & I’m glad to see you enjoy the comeback overall ❤️❤️

ilays

TXT works very closely with their team of staff since debut, and watching their comeback trailers, concept photos, styling, MV, etc. You can tell that the staff they work with and TXT’s team have a passion for art and creativity because there’s something new and flavorful they add to k-pop no matter how big or small every TXT comeback. I feel like it needs to be more appreciated because i do not feel that at all from other HYBE groups or most groups in the big 4 companies in general even though they have the money, resources, and influence/reputation to take risks and be creative.

Yess!! Their vocals were a real treat this album, I think you would really enjoy some of their Japanese releases. Ito, Hitori no Yoru (Will make you cry) and Ring If you haven’t already heard them!

Chrisbel Placencia

Ebby is behind the killa and tinnitus. They the real one. 😵

yunno_r

yeah the killa is probably one of my favorite songs of theirs now

Koko3op

Oooo I haven't. I guess I'll need to do a discovery of their Japanese releases for sure

Koko3op

Thank you so much, I love it when I love shit too lool. YEAH COS THEY'RE GONNA ASK TOMORROW LOL!! Tbh I tried in the past off camera but I don't think I enjoyed anything

ash

loveeeeee the killa

Random thought: I would LOVE to see a girl group do a concept like Deja Vu (if a group hasn't already). Something emotive, artistic and expressive with a touch of angst and contemporary influence in their choreo. Not sexy or cute, just raw emotion and grit as the driving force. I haven't had a look at the lyrics yet but I really like that generally TXT has lyrics that speak of the difficulty of adolescence, the good and the bad. They feel very relatable which I think is hard to do when you know they don't get to experience half the things they talk about (from what we know at least). There is a level of composure in many girl groups that I sometimes would like to see them lose, and just focus on expressing strong emotions. I think it comes with being an idol and not wanting to look 'extra', but sometimes I wish they would do what San from Ateez does and embody the feeling a bit more. Just a thought. Feel free to enlighten me if I've missed anything.

Yesssss love love love this album!!! The last few comebacks didn’t fully connect with me but ugh this felt so grounding back in their concept and sound it’s somehow refreshing? Idk I’m still basking😂 Also I love how yesterday I was worried I lost my attention span just for them to drop the most perfect 3:30 song🥹🥹

Christa

The way u answered all of ur polls in this reaction LOLL

ati

I love how fresh the title track is and the whole concept! like txt were NOT PLAYING for this album

PlantMomY

Whoever was behind the production of Deja vu knows what they're doing!!!! This album was really good. This is what KPOP is about and TXT were really in their bag with this one.

Im writing this before watching bc I feel like if I do it after I won’t be honest with my own opinions and reactions since I will probably just follow your excitement. It’s maybe bc I prefer the music txt made in other eras that I didn’t enjoy this mini as much. I would never dare to say it’s bad, bc it’s actually pretty good it just felt a little bland for me. Again I’m posting this bc I think it 100% comes down to personal taste and I’m excited to watch your reaction☺️

Alice Barrientos

After watching your reaction: I already liked deja vu and the killa the most but it was so nice to see you get that excited! I always enjoy your reactions even if we sometimes have different opinions 🤭 cause different taste after all

Haha, a fabled 10. And that's some extreme hate for the whoa-oh-ohs... Those choruses still kinda work for me :) TXT's music shows that Hybe is still allowing each individual artist+team to do their own thing, which is encouraging. They are not just standardizing everything.

Shay

This album was so so good for me but I have to agree with quarter life! In the preview it sounded SO good but thos whoa-ohs have got to go Im sorry... its reminds me of old 5sos or something. other than that I highly liked all of the other songs and ofc the killer is my fav it eats so hard

TXT Album review I’ll see you there tomorrow - Idk why but i feel like this song fit right in on an NCT album, and probably sound better if they sang it. It feels very SM filler somehow? The beginning was hard to get through for me. Huening Kai and Beomgyu were tuned so oddly. I’m guessing it was a stylistic choice but personally I really didn’t like it. In the chorus they all sounded great though. I agree with what you said about switching between members with the same lyrics, it really does keep the song feeling fresh. 5.5/10 Morse code - so cute. Gave me debut flashbacks, love it, just thought it would be part of a song hehe. Deja Vu - the production is great and the track really fits their vocals and style. Didn’t drag on. Fun but simple choreo. Nice and atmospheric. Cool MV. I didn’t really click with me the way it did for you though. 7.5/10 Miracle - It feels lowkey like a Pentagon song. It’s as if Daisy & Do Or Not had a child. But the child can’t live up to its parent’s expectations. 6.0/10 (seriously, listen to daisy and then do or not? Then imagine Do or Not with Daisy’s vibe and voila: Miracle) The killa - Yeonjun and Soobin subunit?! Killed it! I love how they made the choice not to overcomplicate the song by using all the members. Definitely something I can put on while I’m doing my summer gardening. At this point in time Tinnitus still tops Killa in my head but this is definitely a solid follow up. 8/10 Deja Vu (Anemonia Remix) - I actually like this more than the original lol. It’s more epic and I can imagine in my head it being a conclusion to their Love Song Trilogy. 8.5/10 Definitely check I out. Quarter life - Very Boyband feely. I actually think it suits them haha. I defo understand the 1D, 5SOS etc. “trauma” from the 2010’s. But to me this is still much better than Miracle. Oh-oh’s be damned. 😂 7/10

Koko3op

Exactly!! Tbh if they ever surpass love song or even runaway title track wise I'll be amazed but I think this was a great direction!

Koko3op

Haha nice thanks for writing this out!! Yess I see what you mean regarding Daisy.

LisMM

Thanks for reading it all haha. I really struggle at trying to condense my thoughts so it always ends up like this. At least there are paragraphs🫠. Also, please tell me if you will be checking out Chungha’s new songs? We have a Hongjoong feature and her waacking… or are you maybe waiting for the “I’m ready” dance practice to come out?

Joy

Quarter Life is right out of the One Direction 2011-13 playbook so I'm eating it right up! Can definitely understand how the chorus can be underwhelming though with the woahs. Miracle is more of a concert song. They performed it at their showcase and moas with the chants added a lot to this song. Txt even added in fun adlibs and their group “cheer”. I prefer the live over the album version but it's still good. I love love love deja vu. I feel like every time I listen to it, it gets better and better. Also, the choreography goes CRAZY! The studio choom drops today and I need to see it in 4k. Plus the remix is *chefs kiss* The only song I wasn't wowed about was I'll see you there tomorrow. The beginning of the song and honestly the verses in general are off to me. Plus jersey club type of sound is just not my cup of tea. Still with all that said I think it's a fantastic album, and I'm excited to see it performed live this spring!!

ashleelei

i use to loveeee their early music but i havent been tuning into them recently just because i wasn’t really vibing with their latest releases, however THIS is what ive been needing not just from them but from hybe groups in general. deja vu was such a breath of fresh air, and i kinda feel like bighit’s in-house producers were wayyy more hands-on than hybe this time around

SyrupEatingPancake

you probably know this already but Huening Kai's Lee Mujin service is out now, and so is their Studio Choom for Deja Vu!! A performance video of "I'll see you there Tomorrow" is also being released soon if you're interested in that (they also performed it at their comeback show) :)

Wheezefest

I love when you love a song so much it makes you angry 😭

Jay Mèlanie

That feeling when you come across good music, great production, and an awesome artistic take on concept to execute the song visually. This is what I felt watching this reaction and I was right there with you. Btw I was also right there with you on the one eye symbolism, which I have been seeing it so much lately.🫣😫 I think Deja Vu is such a captivating song, so good (I enjoyed both productions). I also really enjoyed based on musical preference The Killa and See You Tomorrow, the other 2 were solid songs just not my preference. Definitely looking forward to getting deeper into their discography, I only have a few of their songs added, 1 being “Dreamer” which I play the most, I just love the vocals on that song.

maya k

finally got around to checking this comeback out and i loved it so much! i realize now that the chorus of deja vu reminds me soooo much of bts i need u? its even in the same key! i need u was only bts' 3rd year but i feel like txt is in a very similar place right now where they're really coming into their own and cementing their place in the industry as true artists.

Taylor McKee

Love you and love TXT! Just joined your Patreon and I'm so excited to be here. I don't know if this is how you recommend stuff but I was hoping that you would watch TXT's live stage on "It's Live". They did an amazing job and I think you would appreciate it a lot. Thank you!!!!!!

Angel

The “woah oh oh” isn’t the annoying part to me it’s the way it’s layered/stacked if that makes any sense, maybe if they did something else in the studio idk
