"That doesn't prove anything," Wonder Woman insisted.

Batgirl and Silver Sorceress both turned, gave her a skeptical look at the same time. Diana fidgeted, cheeks darkening even more than they had once she'd seen why the other her was in the store, what she was picking up.

"Well, it doesn't," she shrugged awkwardly, her voice sounding - to her, at least - like a whiny little girl, desperate to get the grown-ups to listen to her. All that was missing was a stomp of the foot, a sulky crossing of the arms, and she had to catch herself to stop the latter. "It doesn't!" she declared.

"What else would she be buying them for?" Cassandra asked point-blank, one question Diana wasn't prepared for.

"Well, you never know," she said. "Sh-She could be helping out an elderly neighbor, or..."

Silver Sorceress snickered. "Do you see what they look like? There were plain ones right next to it, so don't you think..?"

"I don't know!" Diana snapped. "But... This is different anyway! She didn't get defeated, it isn't a villain putting her in them... It's not the same!"

Did that make it less embarrassing? She wasn't sure about that, either. Maybe she was wrong, maybe the neighbor was a villain, controlling the other her like Eviless, or hypnotizing her... The only way to know for certain was to watch more, yet she couldn't bring herself to do that right away, couldn't take it so soon.

She'd been so engrossed in her thoughts, she barely noticed the other two women whispering to one another until Silver Sorceress spoke up again. "We thought you might find this world... interesting."

Diana sighed, positive that if they'd seen it already, she'd have to see herself in diapers, that this wasn't going to get her any closer to proving them wrong. "Can't we..?"

"No," Batgirl interrupted. "You should check this out."

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

"Uh-oh," the Nanny cooed, stepping in closer to Wonder Woman's cage, looming over her with a grin. "What happened, sweetie?"

Diana squirmed, the movement making her snug onesie tug upwards ever so slightly, bringing a blush to her cheeks as the mush in her thick diaper was pulled tighter against her. "I-I dunno..." she shook her head innocently.

"Oh, you don't, huh?" the Nanny smirked, bending over and picking her up easily. "I put you down for your nap, and your diaper was totally clean, and dry, wasn't it? What do you think, little one?" She gave the seat of Wonder Woman's diaper a pat. "Is it now?"

Diana heard herself letting out a high-pitched giggle, head swimming as she felt the Nanny's hand press against the load in her diaper, sending it squelching around her backside, between her legs. She was so tiny now, the size of a toddler, at best... The woman's hand enveloped almost the whole thing at once, emphasizing Diana's loss of size.

"It isn't, is it?" the Nanny asked, Wonder Woman having to shake her head. "You had a little accident in your crib, didn't you?"

"No, Nanny," Diana told her.

The Nanny raised an eyebrow, bemused. "You didn't?"

"Nuh-uh," Diana said. "I had a big accident!"

She giggled again, the Nanny joining in. "Yes, you did," she agreed. "At least, for someone as itty-bitty as you!"

Diana squealed in delight as the Nanny gave her tummy a tickle through the thin cloth of her onesie, arms and legs flailing happily, only amplifying as the Nanny undid the snaps, pushing the onesie up, blowing a raspberry on the shrunken woman's bare stomach.

"Well," the Nanny chuckled as she finished, "I bet you're even soggier now!" Diana blushed and nodded; she hadn't noticed it, but her diaper did feel squishier, warmer. "What do you say, Diana? Are you ready for a change?"

Diana thought about it for a moment, shook her head. "No!" she announced. "I don't wanna!"

"Are you sure?" the Nanny ran a hand over her exposed diaper. "Hmm... Yeah, I guess it ought to hold a bit longer."

"It will!" Diana bobbed her head enthusiastically. "I swear!"

"You swear, huh?" the Nanny snickered. "Well, I can certainly trust you to know when you're going to use your diapee, can't I?"

"You can, Nanny!" Diana promised, the Nanny's skeptical expression only making the butterflies flap harder in her stomach, making her feel that much smaller as the Nanny snapped the onesie back up.

She could, really... At least, theoretically, she could. She'd been able to, back in the beginning, back before she'd been in them full-time for... How long was it now? She couldn't even remember... And that made it all the better. As far as her brain was concerned in the moment, she'd always been in them, because that was where she belonged.

She did still recall when she'd first seen it, of course. That was burned into her mind, one of the most significant moments of her life, even if the exact timing of it was so long ago now that everything around it was a bit fuzzy.

Batman had been telling her about some of his villains earlier that day, and the one, for some reason, that had stuck with her, that had resonated with her, was Baby Doll. "She's stuck as a five year old?"

"Physically," Batman had been quick to defend himself. "Mentally, she's an adult. I didn't beat up a five year old."

"Obviously," Diana had brushed him off. "But... She looked like she was five?"

"You really never caught a rerun of Love That Baby?" Batman had asked.

Diana had let out a gasp, a little louder than she'd intended, her face warming, knowing she may have given away more than she had planned. "No way," she'd shaken her head, unable to help herself anyway. She could have Googled it, but she had someone here in front of her who had seen it in person. "Not Baby?"

"Yes, her. Mary Dahl. How do you think the show ran for so long with the same actor?" Batman had told her.

"I didn't realize..." Diana had only seen it two or three times, never given it much thought, even if the episodes she had seen had seemed to come from further apart than seemed possible, judging by how much older the rest of the cast had looked. Never in a million years, however, would she have guessed that the title character was an adult at the time.

"She was about twenty then," Batman had clarified. "She's grown up slightly since then, as much as she's going to, but she still looks like a child. Tragic."

"Y-Yeah," Diana had nodded numbly. "Exactly what I was thinking... I-I feel sorry for her..."

She'd gone home that night and immediately went searching through the channels until she found it, sat transfixed, staring at the screen. Baby did seem precocious, yes, probably more than any actual toddler could have, yet Diana could hardly blame herself for not knowing that she was being played by anyone over the age of four.

It became a bit of a tradition for her, going home and watching the show. It had, indeed, ran for quite a while, it appeared, with plenty of episodes for her to make her way through, seeing everyone else grow older, while Mary stayed the same. Batman was right... It was tragic, imagining her, especially at that age, having to spend all day being treated like a little girl, dressing like one... Diana could see how that might push someone over the edge, might plant the seeds to them becoming a villain eventually.

On the other hand... Diana couldn't help feeling jealous at the same time. Just the thought of it, as Batman had told her about Baby Doll, had triggered that, and seeing the show only increased the emotion within her. Baby's costume was so childish, so humiliating to imagine a twenty-year old having to wear, to let herself be seen in on television, but... Diana kind of wanted to try it on.

She'd always found it distasteful when costume shops sold versions of villains' costumes at Halloween, or that anyone would choose to go out dressed like them, though it did come in handy now. If anything, she ought to be grateful that Mary had taken up a life of crime, and done it in her old clothes from the show, since otherwise she doubted Love That Baby had enough of a following to justify making a costume for it. She could have found a similar dress, and Mary Janes, and hair bows, elsewhere, sure... How would she explain why she needed them, particularly the former two, which she'd have to get in her size? At least with the costume, it was all in one package, and it was obvious she had chosen to be Baby Doll for Halloween.

Except, of course she wasn't. That would have been ridiculous... She took it home with her, left it sitting in her closet for weeks before she worked up the courage to open up the package, take it out, look at it. It wasn't a bad match for the show, she had to admit... Then again, it was just a purple dress with puffed sleeves and a short, flouncy skirt... And some frilly little white panties.

She would have liked to say she hadn't really thought about those, but it was hard for her not to, as often as Baby flashed them on the show. It was almost like her dress was designed to do so, as weird as that seemed for the character's age. Considering how old her actress was, however, she supposed it made sense. She wanted to blame it on some pervy executive... She honestly couldn't say that she minded, though.

There was something so innocent about it, so sweet. And, given how young Baby was portrayed as, she had been having an internal debate with herself, wondering if they were just panties, or if, perhaps, there was a bit of extra padding there. It didn't help that the show seemed to love having the mother take her off to get her ready for bed, but never showed Baby after that.

It was a thought that never would have occurred to Diana otherwise, she was pretty sure, if she hadn't known the context of it all, but any time that happened, she pondered if, maybe, as little as Baby was, she wore diapers to bed. Every time, her cheeks burned at the idea, at Mary throwing a tantrum at reading that script, at being told she was going to have to be filmed in pajamas and diapers to really double down on her cuteness.

Sometimes, those thoughts went a little further. As much trouble as Baby got into, and as few consequences as there were for it most of the time, as long as she batted her eyes and said her catchphrase, "I didn't mean to," Diana couldn't help imagining her being taken over her father's - or, more often, her mother's - lap, spanked, sent to the corner, then put to bed early, thickly diapered. She'd never have wanted that for an actual child, but she'd long since stopped thinking of the character of Baby as that, she realized. In her mind, she was Mary Dahl, an adult choosing to act this way, who, if she'd been disciplined instead of being allowed to be a brat, might never have turned to crime.

It really put the show into a whole different light. And once she had the costume, she found herself getting lost further and further in that fantasy. She would have thought the role she would play would have been the mother, but being Baby did seem like more fun, didn't it? And that was the costume she'd chosen... She doubted there were costumes out there still for the mom, though it would have been easier to find an approximation in the stores that would fit her, and less embarrassing to explain away.

As an adult, Diana Prince did not dress up for Halloween... That year, however, since she had the costume, had opened it, she hadn't been able to help herself. She wasn't a perfect match thanks to her black hair, almost the exact opposite of Mary's blonde, but once she had it up in ringlets, tied up in bows, it wasn't too bad. And the costume fit her like a glove.

All it had taken was one glimpse of herself in the mirror, her white panties peeking out from under the skirt, and she knew she was a goner. She was so adorable... She might not look exactly like Baby Doll, no - besides her hair, her body was clearly more adult, more developed - but there was something that was, in its own way, more cute about that, about her choosing to dress up in such an immature outfit regardless.

It wasn't hard, from there, to imagine herself acting like Baby, getting into trouble... But, as in her other fantasies, being disciplined for it. If she'd done all those things that Baby did, she'd deserve to be put to bed extra early in a big, thick diaper... And, at least for Halloween, she was Baby, wasn't she? The rest of the world might assume she was Baby Doll, the villain; in her heart, she was Baby, the character from the sitcom.

She got plenty of compliments when she finally dared to leave her apartment, which only made her feel better, practically skipping her way down to the corner store. She knew they'd have what she wanted there... As soon as she saw them on the shelf, she felt a tingling, unlike anything she'd ever experienced before, and she almost couldn't wait until she got home, almost ducked into the store's bathroom right then and there.

The cashier had given her a bemused look, and she was certain that he knew they were for her, and that turned her on even more. He double-bagged them for her, winking at her as he handed them over, and she rushed back home. "Wow," someone had said as she passed by. "Looks like you got a lot of candy there!"

"Y-Yeah," she'd blushed. "I got quite the treat..."

Her first time diapering herself had been rough, the tapes crooked and too loose... But seeing herself, the dress's skirt no match for the added bulk of the diaper, she didn't care.

"That's it, Baby," she could hear Baby's mother lecturing her. "We know you did mean to do it, young lady, and we've had enough of your bad behavior. You're staying in diapers from now on, until you can prove you can behave yourself."

"B-But Mommy..." Diana had heard herself protesting out loud, as her thumb slipped its way between her lips, unbidden.

It was still early, yet it had only felt right to change into an oversized sleep shirt - though one still short enough to leave her diaper peeking out - and crawl into bed, wiggling happily in her new diaper, listening to it crinkle, feeling the soft padding all around her... It was wonderful... So long as she kept her eyes closed so she didn't see the nice, fancy grown-up bed she was lying in.

It didn't seem right at all. That wasn't where she ought to be sleeping... You never saw Baby's bed on the show, which made it all the easier for Diana to convince herself that she must sleep in a crib. It only made sense... She was so tiny, if she were to roll off a normal bed, she might hurt herself. And there was something so soothing, so comforting, about the thought of it, of going to sleep, surrounded on all sides by bars, keeping her safe all night long... Just like her diaper would.

But if she had a crib, wouldn't she need a changing table, too? A high chair? More cute baby clothes? As much as she loved Baby Doll's dress, there were so many other outfits she wanted to try on over her diapers. Where was she going to find all of that in her size?

The answer was simpler, and better, than she ever would have dreamed, once she remembered that the Teen Titan, Bumblebee, didn't actually have powers... Her ability to change her size was thanks to science.

It had been embarrassing, going to the college girl, asking if she could make her something that would allow her to shrink at will, too. "I mean, probably," the girl had said. "But why?"

Diana had prepared herself for that question, had come up with a whole series of lies... When the time came, however, staring the girl in the face, she'd chosen to go another route. "Because I want to be little," she'd confessed. "Like... Really little. I want to be able to make myself the size of a baby."

"You want to do that?" Bumblebee had replied, surprise clear in her voice. "Just for fun?"

Diana had nodded, standing her ground. "Yes. For fun."

To her credit, Bumblebee hadn't asked any more questions, hadn't laughed at her. She'd just said, "All right, I'll see what I can do," and, a few weeks later, had delivered. "I'd like you to try it now," she'd told Diana when she did. "So I can make sure it's working correctly."

Diana had been happy to comply, and even happier that, when she activated the bracelet, the world around her grew gigantic, including the younger woman she was standing in front of, quivering with excitement. "This is perfect!" she'd squealed. "You even made my clothes shrink with me!"

"We'll see," Bumblebee had smiled. "Reverse it."

Diana had, was almost disappointed when she saw everything growing smaller around her again, taking her back to normal size. "This is wonderful," she'd given Bumblebee a hug. "Thank you so much. What do I owe you?"

"Nothing," Bumblebee had said. "Except... I do want to know what you're going to do with it."

It was risky, but Diana owed Bumblebee so much for letting her live out her fantasies, so she'd opened up her purse, taken out the baby diaper she'd bought, praying that the bracelet would work as well as she'd dreamed it would.

"Oh," Bumblebee had giggled, and, for a moment, Diana was afraid she was going to tell the other heroes, that she'd never live it down. And then Bumblebee had leaned over, pressing the button on the bracelet, shrinking Diana once more. "You're way too small to put that on yourself, sweetie," she'd declared, bending down and taking it from her. "Why don't you let a grown-up do that for you?"

Bumblebee had helped her pick out her furniture for the nursery that her apartment had since become, and her new wardrobe, had helped her redecorate, and had looked after her for a little while, her first Nanny, though, as a superhero herself, she'd been too busy to do it full-time. She had been able to recommend a friend of hers, however, who could.

"I bet you need a snack after your nap, don't you?" her Nanny smiled down at her. Diana nodded shyly. "Oh, I see," the Nanny chuckled, knowing the tiny superhero all too well by now. "No baby food for now, huh?"

Diana giggled and shook her head. That was what she ate now, for the most part, as she sat in her high chair, bib around her neck, Nanny spoon-feeding it to her... But it wasn't what she was in the mood for at the moment.

"All right, sweetie," her Nanny carried her over to the rocking chair, opening up her shirt, unclipping one cup of her nursing bra. "Here we go!" Diana's mouth watered as she was lifted up gently, a warm feeling washing over her even before she began to suck, as she felt the sweet milk filling her tummy.

Unfortunately, she didn't get to be there for long before they heard a loud bang from across the city. Her Nanny sighed, peering out the window at the plume of smoke rising up. "Do you want to go see what that was?" she asked.

Diana pulled herself away from the girl's breast, wiping her mouth. "I guess so," she said reluctantly, letting herself be lifted down onto the floor before making herself big again. That was, really, the only time she was big anymore, while she was off being Wonder Woman... The rest of the time, she stayed toddler-sized, playing in her nursery, being cared for by her Nanny.

"Do you want a change now?" her Nanny teased.

Diana wiggled her bottom. "No, I don't think this'll take long."

"Hmph," her Nanny smirked. "I bet you just want Batman to have to change you again when you leak."

"I do not!" Diana stuck her tongue out at the girl. He had been surprisingly good at it, though, she had to admit... And it had been nice that he, and the rest of the heroes, hadn't made fun of her - or thrown her out of the League altogether - the first time she had leaked, when they'd found out the truth, when she hadn't been able to bring herself to take off her diaper to go be Wonder Woman. Now that they all knew, and seemed to be fine with it, she never bothered to do that anymore, never had to be without her padding.

"Whatever you say, baby," her Nanny said, lovingly patting her on the bottom. "Be a good little girl and hurry up so you can get back and finish your snack."

Diana nodded obediently. "I will," she promised. She always was, wasn't she? She might have started all this, fantasizing about being Baby Doll, but she knew she was too sweet to ever be like that brat. In her core, she knew she was a sweet, obedient little girl... And she always would be.
