It was the strangest thing... Janet couldn't even remember for sure why she'd bought the things. She'd just been walking through the drug store - which was odd enough on its own, since she hadn't been looking for anything in particular - and spotted them. She'd picked up the package and set it down a few times, before something made her take them up to the checkout lane, cheeks flushing as the guy working the counter scanned them and took her money, checking her out the whole time - Jenny hoped because he found her hot, not because he was wondering if she was wearing one of the things she was purchasing.

She'd tossed them into her closet when she got home, feeling confused, and a little embarrassed, that she'd actually bought them. Maybe she'd give them to her older sister for her next birthday as a joke... Otherwise, she really didn't have any use for them.

And yet, that weekend, as she cleaned the house, her new favorite album blaring through her computer speakers, she found herself stopping at the closet and staring at the package.

The next thing she knew, she was kneeling on her bed, pants off, one of the silly, embarrassing items in her hand. She could barely remember tearing open the package - though now she wished she hadn't since that would make it much harder to pretend she'd bought it just for a gag gift - and pulling one out.

But here she was, holding it... She ran her hands over it, shivering a little at the soft crinkling sound under her fingertips. The sound of the music echoed through her mind as she knelt there, softly caressing the plastic, fully unaware of the smile coming over her face before finally she shook herself out of it, setting the diaper aside and chuckling at herself. She must have just been curious, she told herself... That's all it was...
