"So, Joshy," Miss Autumn said, sprinkling baby powder onto him as she got him diapered to go home for the day, "do you have any vacation days at your job?"

"Huh?" Josh blinked, the mention of work taking him by surprise a bit, coming now, though, to be fair, he did need to get back to being a grown-up soon anyway. "Umm... Yeah." He didn't get a ton, but he had some.

"Well, then, sweetie," she smiled, "could you take one next Friday? I think it's about time we went on a little field trip."

Josh's eyes lit up. "A field trip? Where?" He remembered always loving field trips when he was in school, a chance to get out of the classroom and go do something interesting... Of course, he could do that almost anytime now that he was an adult, yet the excitement still lingered. And next Friday was the start of a holiday weekend, so he was happy to get out of work if he could, because those sorts of days were always crazy.

"It's something special," was all she would tell him, no matter how hard he begged.

The mystery gnawed away at him, in a good way, until that day, until he was practically vibrating as he showed up to the school that Friday morning. It seemed strange, going there so early, as if he were really attending the school... This was when students would be showing up, if they didn't all have the day off. Inside, it didn't look any different than he was used to, but the feeling persisted, like he was running late on his way to class.

When he got there, it was only Miss Autumn waiting for him, of course, although that was enough for him. "There you are!" she beamed, getting up from her desk. "All right, Joshy, we'd better get you ready!"

She walked over to the changing table, Josh's eyes following her, and seeing more than just a diaper waiting for him there. She had a whole outfit picked out for him, that she helped him into, a t-shirt with a happy dinosaur on the front, a pair of shortalls with a tiny, embroidered dinosaur on the pocket, and some Velcro sneakers, along with a backpack and plastic lunchbox, both with dinosaurs on them as well.

"Well, now," she said, taking in her handiwork, "don't you look cute?" He blushed, quietly taking her hand, letting himself be taken out to her car and buckled in for the drive, still not knowing where they were going, Miss Autumn still not telling him, despite his increasing wiggliness. "This is a special treat for all your hard work in the classroom lately," she told him mysteriously.

As they got closer, however, he began to suspect he knew the answer. He'd been there before, but not for a long time... Not since, probably, an actual field trip, when he was actually in school. "Are we going to the museum?" he blurted out, proud of himself for recognizing the scenery, though hoping he wouldn't be embarrassed by being wrong.

He wasn't. "Such a clever boy!" she praised him. "Isn't it fun to learn outside of the classroom sometimes?"

He nodded, settling back in his seat, blushing slightly as he felt his diaper squish. Wet again... But that was hardly uncommon nowadays, especially on a car ride like this. He considered mentioning it to her, then decided against it, confident that it wasn't that bad yet.

When they'd arrived, and she helped him out of the car, he started to regret it. Going on a regular field trip here, he'd always been surrounded by the rest of his class, so it had felt crowded, but since it was all people he knew, it was different than now... That, and he hadn't been wearing diapers at the time. The holiday weekend assured that there were still plenty of people, making him want to stick close to Miss Autumn's side, and also keeping him from mentioning his soggy diaper, despite seeing the bathrooms right there, for fear that he would be overheard.

"It's all right," Miss Autumn told him, giving his hand a squeeze. "Just stay with me, all right?" He nodded, hanging back obediently while she got their tickets. "Hold out your wrist for me," she instructed, wrapping a green plastic wristband over it and snapping it shut. He assumed, at first, it was their ticket, until he saw that she didn't have one, and looked around to see that it was only kids who did.

"If you behave," she said with a small smile, seeing his cheeks turn red, "you'll get to see something very exciting at the end, okay?"

"O-Okay," he nodded, taking her hand once more and letting her lead him into the museum, taking him to each exhibit, reading him the plaques, telling him about them all. He could have done the former himself, of course, but there was something so soothing about listening to her speak, so calming... He could almost find himself getting lost in her voice, in staring at everything, not paying attention as his diaper grew soggier and soggier, until...

"Uh-oh, Joshy," she peered down at him. "Did you have an accident?" He glanced down, following her gaze, his eyes widening when he saw a wet spot there. He was leaking! "It's all right," she assured him. "I saw a family bathroom right over there."

Mortified, he let himself be led to it, thankful to find it empty when they arrived. She lifted him up onto the changing table there, undressing him. "Good thing I brought all these spare diapers!" she exclaimed, taking some out of the backpack she'd put on him.

"I-I'm sorry," he mumbled. "I-I didn't..."

"I told you, Joshy," she gave him a hug. "It's fine! It happens! We're going to get you all cleaned up!" She did, wiping him off, taping him into a dry diaper... But, when she got back to the shortalls, she paused. "These are too wet for you to go back into."

"Wh-What?!" he squeaked, as she pulled a plastic bag out of the backpack to put them into. "B-But...!" She couldn't expect him to go back out like this... Could she?! His diaper was on full display, his t-shirt nowhere near long enough to hide it!

"Calm down," she said. "You don't have anything to worry about."

It didn't feel that way, however, being taken back out onto the museum floor, feeling the cool breeze on his bare legs. He was certain he could feel people staring at him, seeing his big, crinkly diaper... But not as many as he expected, and the few that said anything just commented, "Aww, isn't he cute?" to Miss Autumn, like they thought he was an actual child. And maybe that was how they saw him... He could only hope so, at this point.

After a few more exhibits, they stopped for lunch, the contents of Josh's lunchbox as childish as everything else Miss Autumn had prepared for him today - a juice box, apple slices, a peanut and butter sandwich with the crusts cut off - before continuing on.

"Oh, here we go!" she exclaimed. "I know you've probably been very excited for this!"

Josh looked at the sign for where they were going, having been happy to simply go where she led until then, and saw they were headed for the fossil exhibit, and realized that, in a way, he really had been. That had always been his favorite part of the museum when he was younger... And, considering the dinosaur on his shirt, it definitely seemed like that was what he was here for now.

"Before you can enjoy yourself, though," she said, "it's time for a little class work." She opened up his backpack, pulling out an activity sheet, sitting him down on a bench with a small pack of crayons, his Velcro sneakers swinging as he connected the dots to complete a picture of a dinosaur, then traced his way through a simple maze, so engrossed that he didn't notice what was happening in his pants yet again, until he hopped up to hand his sheet to Miss Autumn to be checked.

He froze as soon as his feet hit the floor, a rush of mush that had been held in only by his sitting position suddenly starting to fill his diaper. He gasped, squirming anxiously in place, unable to stop it, head swimming with embarrassment, knowing that the drooping seat of his pants was visible to everyone around him...

"Good work!" Miss Autumn, Josh not certain if she meant his worksheet, or his diaper, although the fact that the gold star sticker she gave him, after kissing him on the forehead, went on the latter, made him assume she meant that. "Such a good boy."

"He is." Josh jumped as he heard another voice, his blush deepening to see a museum attendant smiling down at him. "So well behaved! Here, this is what good boys get here!" Bashfully, he took the dinosaur sticker she offered him.

"Th-Thank you," he said quietly. Did she know the truth about him? Or did she think he truly was a toddler? Considering what she'd just seen him do, he couldn't blame her if that was the case... And, in a way, it was almost less embarrassing that way.

"And so polite, too!" the woman observed. "What a sweet boy!"

Miss Autumn smiled proudly, waiting for the attendant to walk away before telling Josh, "The bathroom is all the way over there... And the fossils are right there. Do you want to go allll the way back, or do you want to see the exhibit first?" He could tell which one she wanted him to do... And he did want to be a good boy.

"I-I can wait," he told her, getting a hug in response. He felt so very tiny, looking at the fossils in his dino shirt, and his messy diaper, knowing that everyone who looked at him knew what he'd done... But none of them seemed to care, or find it strange, only telling Miss Autumn about how cute he was, or commenting on how well behaved he was for her.

And, as squishy and babyish as it was, it wasn't so bad, especially while being told constantly what a good boy he was. If it meant getting to stay and look at the fossils more, and listen to Miss Autumn tell him about them, then he could still in his dirty diaper a little longer...

If he'd asked, he was sure Miss Autumn would have changed him once they were through. She even paused, for a moment, at the bathroom, giving him the perfect chance, but after all the praise he'd gotten, it didn't bother him too much, so he stayed quiet, let them move on. They looked at a few more things before she decided he was getting too sleepy. He protested, of course, though that didn't stop him from dozing off on the ride back, Miss Autumn having to shake him gently awake once they'd arrived at the school.

"I'm so proud of you," she said. "You were such a good boy today."

He blushed, but, with as many times as he'd heard it today, it was hard to deny that it was true. He was a good little boy, and Miss Autumn had made him that way. "However," she continued, holding a finger up, "you did have a leak, didn't you?" He nodded sheepishly. "I'm afraid I have to take some points off for that... Accidents do happen, and I'm not mad... I do wish you'd given me a bit of a warning, though."

"Sorry," he mumbled.

"No, it's okay," she assured him. "I just said, I'm not mad. That does mean that your grade is ever so slightly too low to get these back." She held up his car keys, giving them a jingle.

"Wh-What?" he frowned, staring at them in surprise. "B-But..."

"You're not a big enough boy to be trusted with these," she told him, the mess in his pants confirming that he definitely wasn't a big boy. "And since you're much too small to walk all the way home... It looks like I'll have to take care of you for the weekend."

Josh felt his heart begin to beat a little faster. "A-All weekend?" he fidgeted excitedly.

"All weekend," she repeated. "That will give you plenty of time to earn some... 'extra credit.'" She gave his messy diaper a pat, leaning over to give him another kiss. He expected it to be on his forehead again, but her lips moved downwards, meeting his, like they had way back on Christmas, like he'd wanted them to do again ever since... "Is that okay?" she asked.

"Y-Yeah," he giggled, feeling a bit light-headed in anticipation of what this weekend might bright. "Y-Yeah, it's definitely okay..."

What else was there for her to say, except one final, "Good boy," sending a pleasant shiver down his spine as she started the car back up to take them on to their next adventure?
