Janet breathed a sigh of relief as she slipped into her front door, letting her backpack fall to the floor, then nearly sinking down to join it there. It had been a long day, but at least the worst was over now...

"Aww," Lexi smiled, peeking in. "Don't you look cute?"

Janet gasped, spinning around, anxiously tugging at the hem of her skirt, actually glad for her trip to the principal's office now, stepping in front of her bag with a blush. "Y-You're still here?" she asked, trying to sound as calm as possible despite how hard her heart was thumping in her chest.

"The other house I clean took a little longer than usual," Lexi shrugged. "I assumed you wouldn't mind, since you're so rarely here nowadays..."

That was true; Janet was back in school, after all. Back in middle school, that was, and forced to wear diapers there, her current one extra soggy after the surprise she'd just gotten. And it was all thanks to her evil stepdaughter, Hazel... "I-It's fine," she told Lexi.

"Oh, good," Lexi nodded, taking a step towards Janet, towering over her the way most people did, though it was even more pronounced with the maid. "This is a very cute skirt," she commented, her hand reaching out to touch it, Janet quickly shuffling away, worried because that would bring the woman's hand too close to the diaper. "I don't recall seeing it in the laundry before... Is it new?"

"Y-Yeah," Janet said. It was true... She'd gotten it from Deanna, the principal of her school, and a friend of Zella, after a spanking for showing up to school in a skirt that was ever so slightly too short for the dress code.

"It suits you," Lexi grinned. "Don't worry, I'll be out of your hair in a few minutes."

Janet didn't want to sound ungrateful for all the work Lexi did, but it did annoy her to have her schedule thrown off this way... It had been a month now since she'd started her new double life of house wife and middle schooler, and she'd settled into a routine that had, so far, worked out pretty well, letting her finish up most, if not all, of her homework before her husband, Harrison, got home. She was too self-conscious to try that if Lexi was around, however, not wanting the woman to see what she was working so intently on...

It wasn't that big of a deal, though, she reminded herself. Spring break was coming up so soon, she could count down by the hour now, so a lot of the homework she'd gotten today wouldn't be due until after that... She would have preferred to finish it up today anyway, to be honest, so she wouldn't have to think about it while she on a nice couple's trip with Harrison, relaxing and enjoying herself, getting to be a full-time adult for two weeks, for the first time since this had all begun.

Or so she thought, until supper that night, when Harrison said, "Good news! I just heard that my aunt Ingrid will be able to come after all! She wasn't able to make it to the wedding, so she's dying to meet you!"

"Huh?" Janet furrowed her brow, looking up from her soup. "D-Did she book a stay there, too?"

Harrison gave her a strange look, tilting his head slightly. "Well... Yes, Janet."

"N-Not that it won't be nice to meet her," Janet mumbled quickly, "but... Why?"

"My family always goes on vacation together this time of year," he declared. "I'm sorry, did I not tell you?"

Janet had thought she was so lucky, having Harrison agree to take time off from work at the same time as her school's spring break, so she wouldn't have to beg Deanna not to get mad at her for having to miss class to go on it... She'd assumed it would be just the two of them, however. "No, you didn't," she pouted.

"I'm sorry," he apologized again. "We'll have plenty of time to ourselves, I'm sure."

"Yeah," Janet sighed. "But..." Her blood ran cold as something else occurred to her. "D-Does that mean Hazel is coming?"

"Of course," Harrison chuckled. "Why wouldn't she?"

This couldn't be happening! She couldn't spend two weeks with Zella! Who knew what she would try to pull, no matter how much of the family was around?! Janet would probably wind up spending the whole time as her stepdaughter's playtoy! Janet's appetite suddenly ran out, and she spent most of the rest of dinner idly stirring her soup, imagining the worst... And coming up with an excuse.

"Actually, I'm glad to hear your family is going to be there," she said finally, Harrison's face lighting up at the news. "One of my friends from the office was having a baby shower while we'd be gone, and she was so worried nobody was going to show up... Her family is across the country, and she doesn't have many friends, so she didn't have anything to help her set up, either, and I felt bad for her..."

"That's too bad," he agreed, "but what are you saying?"

"I-I do want to go on the trip," she admitted, "but there will be others... And if you're not going to be alone there, I'd like to stay and be sure she's not alone here..." After all, she reasoned, a two week stay here, without school, and away from Zella, would be far more relaxing than a two week vacation where she was constantly being tormented by the girl.

Harrison wasn't pleased, but he did understand... And it made the next day less stressful for Janet, who had been nervous that, since Harrison was taking a half-day at work, that he might beat her home, and see her being dropped off by the bus, and have some questions she didn't have any good answers for. Now, she was able to tell him goodbye that morning, see him off, and then get onto the bus knowing that, by the time he got home, he would almost certainly have headed off on the trip.

That wasn't quite how things went, however... When she came out of school that afternoon, practically skipping towards her usual bus, she was stopped by a familiar voice. "Where are you going?" it called. "Come here, sweetie!"

She nibbled her bottom lip, hoping she was wrong, but sure enough, there, among the line of cars of parents picking up their kids, was Bernice, her former co-worker. "I-I..." Janet pointed towards the bus. "I-I'm just..."

"Janet, you get over here right now, young lady!" Bernice snapped, and, reluctantly, not wanting to make a scene, Janet toddled over to her.

"Wh-What are you doing here?" Janet swallowed, staring up at the bigger lady, squirming anxiously.

"Well, dear," Bernice said, opening up the back door of her SUV, where Janet saw two a car seat and a booster seat, immediately recognizing what a bad sign that was, since she knew Bernice had only one child, "Zella gave me a little call, and told me about your predicament..."

Of course it was Zella! Janet should have known that, even now, when the girl was on vacation and Janet was at home, that she'd find a way to ruin her fun! "I-I don't have a predicament," Janet shook her head, Bernice ignoring her, picking her up and strapping her into the car seat.

"She didn't want you to get lonely," Bernice explained, once she was in the driver's seat and heading away from the middle school. "So, we agreed that you ought to spend the next two weeks going to daycare, instead of your school here..."

"What?!" Janet squealed, kicking her feet helplessly. "No! I-I can't go to daycare!"

"Why not?" Bernice asked. "You're already in diapers... And I could tell when I buckled you in that they were soggy, young lady." Janet blushed, staring down at the floor bashfully. "You're going to fit right in... And I know you're going to be a good playmate for my little Melba, because if you aren't..."

She let the threat hang there, unfinished. Janet had no doubt there was plenty she could do to her, though her real fear was Bernice reporting back to Zella... "Y-Yes, ma'am," she sighed, her nice, peaceful, private vacation vanishing before her eyes.

In the parking lot of the daycare, Bernice stripped Janet out of her relatively mature denim jumper and white Peter Pan collared shirt, putting her, instead,

into a white onesie and a pair of pink shortalls, both with snaps along the crotch, finishing up the look with a pacifier clip attached to the bib pocket on her shortalls.

"It's so nice to have a real baby to look after again, even for just a little while," Bernice smiled. "Melba likes to pick out her own clothes, and she's been out of diapers for a while... But I don't have to worry about you doing either, now do I?"

"I'm not a baby!" Janet pouted, stomping her Velcro sneakers that Bernice hadn't even had to change from the outfit she'd worn to school, realizing instantly how silly that sounded as she was led inside to meet her new classmates for the next couple weeks.

It was bad enough being surrounded by middle schoolers all the time... Now, she was going to be spending her time with actual toddlers! Many of whom, to her humiliation, were in Pull-Ups, or even big kid undies, unlike her! At the very least, though, she didn't have to constantly worry about her secret being revealed... In fact, one of the first things that happened was a worker volunteering to get her some dry pants while Bernice filled out paperwork, and Bernice gladly letting Janet be led away to have her diaper changed by a stranger before being put into the playroom, where she was expected to be entertained by the ring toys, and blocks, and dollhouses there. They really did see her as no better, no more mature, than the other children...

"Bernice, I can't do this for two weeks!" she whined, once everything was all cleared up, and she'd been officially signed up to do exactly that, and she and Melba were being walked out to Bernice's car. "I can't!"

"Don't worry," Melba giggled encouragingly. "It's lots of fun!"

Janet glowered at her, but couldn't come up with a reply that wouldn't end with her being punished by Bernice. She was so jealous, watching the far younger girl being put into the booster seat, when she was stuck in a car seat, quite possibly Melba's old one, having her pacifier pushed into her mouth to keep her quiet on the drive.

Thankfully, Bernice took Janet to her own house; Janet had worried she was going to have to spend the whole time with her. Bernice unstrapped her, lifting her down and onto to ground. "I'll be here to pick you up bright and early in the morning," she warned. "Don't make me have to come in there and find you, young lady."

Janet gulped, shook her head. "I-I won't, ma'am," she promised, getting sent toddling towards the door with a pat on her backside.

Janet waddled all the living room, knowing that Harrison was definitely long gone, tossing her backpack at the sofa grumpily. She'd have her evenings to herself, at least, so that was something, but this was not how she'd expected to spend her spring break, at all...

"Don't you look cute?" Lexi smirked. Janet jumped, eyes widening as she turned, realizing she'd walked right past the maid, yet again. "I think I like this even more than yesterday's outfit..."

"I-It's the new style," Janet stammered. "Y-You know, dressing youthfully? I-It's the hottest thing in Par..."

Lexi didn't even let her finish, grabbing the pacifier from where it was dangling under her shortall pocket and slipping it back between Janet's lips, then, as the smaller woman squealed helplessly, picked her up.

"Funny, isn't it?" Lexi mused out loud as Janet squirmed uselessly in her arms, getting carried through the house. "You told me that you and Harrison were thinking of adopting, or having your own child, and that was why you had all that baby stuff set up in the guest room..."

Janet blushed bright red, recalling when Lexi had found that, despite Janet telling her she didn't have to clean that room, how, thanks to having found nobody to help her move that stuff back into the attic, she hadn't been able to hide it...

"I've always wondered why you would bother with that, when you clearly needed all of that for yourself. Some time in diapers, being treated like the infant you are, is exactly what spoiled little brats like you deserve. And I can see somebody agrees with me." Lexi gave Janet's padded bottom a pat. "Oh, not nearly damp enough..."

She sat down, cradling Janet in her lap, Janet watching in horror as she unbuttoned her shirt and opened up the nursing bra she was wearing underneath, lifting Janet up closer and closer to her now exposed nipple. "We're going to have so much fun, Janet... I can't wait to take you to the park, and to the zoo... And let everyone see what a baby you are, which will help you accept that it's all you are... I can tell, sweetie... This is all just what you need..."
